They allegedly have one of the best binned B-Die kits on the market; ofc u wanna do more than just set 4 values, leave rest on AUTO, test for casual stability and call it "overclocking".
If you approach it like this no point buying these well binned kits in first place.
To each their own, I've come across so many like you who have a certain expectation on everything.
You can't, everyone does their own. If everyone must do it like you then only OK then you might as well write a guideline.

None of the local reviews even mentions the lack of temperature sensors across all their Xtreem series.
That is something that cstkl1 asked here and didn't even get a reply for. Just like the inconclusive answer on the product availability itself.
Those things matter if you wanna address a certain clientele.
And not mentioning it is such an important issue? Perhaps they don't know, even I don't check temperature sensors on DIMM.

but if you then only bring in 50% of your products and send out review samples for products that never see shelves in Malaysia, what is the point of it anyways?
You get recognition, ppl then wanna buy it, products codes are not found on any platform, they realize it's not available. What will 95% of these potential customers do?
Right, they get a competitors brand. People like owihk84, cstkl1 or myself just to call some potential names who then go and possibly order these kits overseas are rare.
Man, you're totally clueless on how the industry works.
1. You can't bring EVERY single thing into the market, even if you intend to many of it is up to the distributor to decide. You can look around, try getting some G.Skill memory and see - the high MHz low latency type. Nope, no jalan because distributor won't take.
I can tell you that, I have access to many distributors and almost EVERY brand you don't see full list of products. In many cases it's not feasible, consumers like you often do not see this challenge.
2. Regarding review samples that never see shelves in Malaysia - You have to understand, our (media) relationship with brand goes beyond "what's available" in Malaysia. You can check my reviews, so many items not found in Malaysia but hey they have it and just want coverage.
That's the arrangement between brand and media, people can't find? It's brand problem la but brand want to send stuff it's up to them, in many cases it's how they maintain their friendship with publications.

[i]Teamgroup doesn't have the brand reputation of e.g. ASUS and can afford to do marketing for certain products and not bring in these very products and expect ppl to still cue for the next best thing.
People see a specific (Teamgroup) product they wanna get, they are not affiliated to the brand itself. It's a long way to that point. And they certainly are not there.
Of course, that's why they're here. At least it's a start, but you coming in this thread to bash other people and acting all high and mighty just because you think you know overclocking isn't helping.
