I try to switch back to Maxis Fiber TP-Link Archer C5v router, try out the Port Forwarding (Virtual Server) to connect my CCTV and Alarm System but seem like it can't work at all even though able ping all IP plus Maxis Fiber is on Public IP as well.


Anyone able to setup your Port Forwarding successful for C5V?
Appreciate if you could share your setting up procedures.

Nope as it was running fine on my Asus router with public IP and port forward fail when switch back to Maxis TP-link Archer C5V. Thx

I manage to locate the issue.
Maxis TP-Link Archer C5V gateway is 192.168.1.254, hence all CCTV and Alarm panel need to change the default gateway to match it as it was on 192.168.1.1 (Asus gateway).

As of now Alarm Panel and Lan CCTV all works except WIFI CCTV as I still can't login into the CCTV through IE to modify the gateway.

3 LAN CCTV work fine now as all 3 connect to own hub and the hub connect to C5V, so far no issue on this 3 now after change the default gateway to C5V 192.168.1.254.
Now my remaining 1 WIFI/LAN CCTV unable to lock on fix WIFI IP due to I can't seem to manual login to this respective CCTV through IE to disable the Auto WIFI DHCP, if plugin LAN then no issue but on WIFI it will keep on change everytime power cycle.

For desktop iVMS-4200, it only able to modify Static IP, Default Gateway and DNS for LAN CCTV but it can't allow to disable IP/LAN Cam/CCTV WIFI auto DHCP.
Normally, it require direct login the IP Cam through IE to modify the setting but some how I can't manage to get it access through. All my LAN CCTV Cam no issue to access through both iVMS and IE except this particular IP Cam.

My IP Cam is Hikvision Network PT Camera model DX-2CV2Q01FD-IW/16G, appreciate if anyone know how to access the WIFI setting menu.

I recall my CCTV guy manage to access my IP Cam WIFI setting last time but now after reset and seem like all gone....ahha

Anyway, your propose reserve WIFI MAC address on specific IP address did worked as well. Thx a lot.
