.. And itโs hard for me to diagnose without seeing u in person anyway.. Cold sores (herpes simplex labialis) are caused by a type of virus (Herpes simplex virus), most commonly HSV-1. It is usually fluid-filled vesicles which might be itchy, painful and have a reddish base. If it is mild, usually no treatment is needed. Unless u have other symptoms like fever, eye symptoms (swollen eyelids, red eye), etc.., or u find it uncomfortable, then you might need to see a doctor.
