A renovation handyman, who placed bets based on his bosses' car registration numbers, struck gold when one of his wagers netted him a whopping RM10.6 million from the Toto 4D Jackpot 1 on May 26.

The 60-year-old, who hails from Penang, said he and his colleagues had always admired their bosses' nice cars.
"The bosses drive nice European cars to work. That made all of us envious and we all dreamt of driving one too.
"So I started betting on their car registration numbers – 9114 and 2230 for many years. That was how I won the jackpot," he said when he came to collect his winnings at Sports Toto Malaysia (STM) Lottery Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur recently.

On what he would do with his winnings, he said he planned to take it easy.
He said he was content knowing that he has become a multi-millionaire and that it is time for him to "enjoy life" with his family.

He bought a System 4 ticket which won him a whopping RM10,627,969.15 and an additional RM672 as System Play bonus.
