Sales and nett profit are different.

RM3,000 sales could translate to RM300 profit (assuming your cost is 90%).

RM3,000 sales for 23 items would've meant selling at RM130.40 each.

It only works well in Western country.

Malaysian rarely use eBay based on my observation. Also the entry from Lazada and Shopee also replaces the ebay platform as people are seeking for goods that is fast and cheap.

Ebay is only applicable if you’re selling second hand stuff and targeting international from Malaysia. If you’re doing small item I don’t necessary feel the need to invest your time in ebay platform.

After all I myself use ebay UK De fr au to seek for products that were made there previously and attempt to make bids for it.

I sell stuffs but usually if item is lower then 400usd not worth selling. Shipping using UPS/FRDEX usually 3-5kg cost around 50usd.

Yeah, if its like a side business, letting it run automatically will nett you enough small change as pocket money.

If wanna go in full time, selling to the US can really earn you a lot cuz of the currency exchange rate.

I remember some /k here is selling on Amazon full time easily netting 1,000USD a month (and that isn't even the top selling in its category).

What you want to sell first?

I’ve been doing online part time without a proper store and brand for many years. So far my target is niche product and there’s a demand for it sometimes.
