Choose your broker carefully. Don’t just look at their prices but also their tools, reliability and speed of order execution.

For traditional banks typically take around 10 business days (similar to mine with Maybank)

Rakuten is more like online platform (licensed via Kenanga), nominee CDS means cannot attend AGM/receive annual report etc., but save you the hassle of visiting a physical branch. I've read some forumers here notice that Rakuten has a lot of downtime, so maybe just to take note on that

It totally depends on your risk appetite, there are multitude of investing/trading strategies, that can fit every single criteria that you are looking for.

If you want quick profit, be prepare for quick losses too, and vice versa, slower profit = lower risk.

For faster profit but with higher risk, usually people trade stocks in short term (Buy/Sell within days/weeks)

For lesser profit but with lesser risk, people usually invest and build wealth over extended period of time. Buy & hold stocks for years, or buy growth stocks that could flourish in medium to long term.

No lunch is free, each strategy requires time and effort, both in market observation as well as preparing a RICH mindset.

Good luck, feel free to PM me if you need any guidance to start your investment journey. Cheers!
