i wanna ask can we connect consoles to lcd monitor? i no have tv..

buy a TVbox from vcool

PS3 you can use HDMI/DVI converter maybe sure your lcd monitor is hdcp compatible.

as for ps2 and wii.. you only stuck of using vga box.

Y need hdcp compatible?

because if it isnt u wont see any pics.. its a sorta piracy and data protection scheme

how about connect ps2 to LCD monitor with component cable?

the scaling feature through those cheap vga box is horrible, especially when played on monitors with much higher native resolution.

component cables deliver great image at around 1080i depending on your monitor. it is the best option for a ps2, as it doesnt have vga nor dvi. however, not all monitors have Component inputs. they are only available in a few high end monitors from brands like Samsung and Sony. my monitor has component too, but that's a different story. extra image for feel-good-feeling

is that a tv tuner? my experience: it was horrible. i guess it was my tuner, but it was nothing to compare to directly connecting it to my tv.

u need to use the S-Video cable to improve the graphic quality if u are using the tv card

what is the software that u normally use?..

so meaning basically i have to buy a vga box in order to play ps2 on lcd monitor? thats the only way rite?..no other options like cable which convert vga to tv output how much is the vga box by the way?

Not sure but I did a research and find out there is a dvi-dl to component (male which is for output but you need a female to get the input from your ps2/ps3/wii component cable).

Alas I still do not have one to test, so could someone test it out and post pics please. if too lazy get a tv box but with component cable or you will have trouble finding the mmi component cable I know cause I looks high and low.

they sell it bundle with the tv box, so you need to rob(kidding) wait for someone to sell their broken tv-box with the mmi component cable).

I found out the dvi-dl cable with component cable that can receive component input and dvi input.
GEFEN DVI TO COMPONENT ADAPTER ADA-DVI-2DVICMP

google for it and you will find it.

how about ps2 port to hdmi??
