How is Proride?
*
pretty good i would say
but that was back then

nowadays almost no people sell proride already due to "inconsistent quality" they say

So should i get cheaper spring instead of eibach?
Might consider other cheaper brands such as proride, d2 but dunno which one is worth it

i cannot tell u which to buy actually....because it really depends on your budget
but for me, i'm not gonna spend on a set of springs that are more expensive than the absorber of the car

it maybe good as u can see here but i just can't
but if u got the budget to burn, hey...why not thumbup.gif

and yeah..do not cut the spring
because once u cut the spring, it wouldn't be the same height as your absorber...meaning your spring would be completely useless and your absorber will be taking all the bumps

my experience toward eibach is cheap

im driving myvi ‘17 and i have used both eibach and ftuned springs. both feels roughly the same, only the ftuned is abit stiffer and firm.

why i did change from eibach to ftuned is because eibach’s ride feels cheap. like really cheap. dont u guys think eibach springs here are mostly not genuine? especially for proton/perodua. for example this eibach spring for myvi is labelled as “Eibach Pro-kit” but the spring is red color. if u go check at eibach website, pro-kit is black, the other one named raceline (if im not mistaken) is red. the box also very simple and not look expensive.

somemore do german company really want to make coil springs for perodua???

but then all these seller set the price as crazy high as rm900+ just because its “Eibach”.. what do u guys think?

my 2cents

oh yeah im now happy with my ftuned springs. they are cheap and locally made, stiff enough to give out firm driving feel. i think local car + local spring manufacturer is already a way to go. surely they can do alot of RnD and tests since the car is locally made. eibach? never seen Perodua/Daihatsu logo on their website. dunno who is actually designed the springs, do RnD etc. etc.

there is no sport springs that is comfortable, but between these 2 brands, i would prefer ftuned over eibach. from my personal experience, eibach will bounce more on uneven road. taking corners with eibach also meh.. body rolls just like standard

long time ago settled my Waja with Pro-ride absorber, take their sport absorber (yellow color) + sport spring (red spring color). Its harder than normal but not to the level of adjustable. If really want sporty look and improve handling (not sure since not test it on lap), prefer Pro-ride cz affordable price.

Less comfort compared to standard i guess, but i guess that's how it should be, cuz we can't get it all in one go..

As my camry use gab adjustable before, improves handling and stability during corners but less comfortable at some point.. But i already knew b4 installed it on my car
