Take my comment with a grain of salt, okay? Air purifier basically removes things like dust in the air, so it's good for those who have an allergy to dust/pollens. Air humidifier is good for those that have sinusitis since it maintains your mucus lining, it can be generally used in almost every situation but you have to make sure it won't affect your furniture, especially those leather-made ones. Air dehumidifier, on the other hand, de-moisturises the air for people that have trouble inhaling due to the high humidity to breathe easier and to prevent the growth of mould, so its usage is quite niche.

edit: Your conditions could be due to dry air. So maybe air humidifier suits you more, just my 2 cents.

same same take this also with a grain of salt...
im using air humidifier..to sleep..heheh lavender works wonders but most likely air purifier would work better...except its also more expensive.

ive got sinus issues too not so sure about that the dust mite thing but the eye itch usually its dust...

Your environment is important ...make sure its not dusty...cause dust will trigger the leaking nose n the itchy/puffy eyes. This is personal experience la..
the most crucial is to fix environment make sure its CLEAN, which is like make sure all the shelves clean weekly / best if keep minimal stuff around so the surface u have to clean less. if not clean till u pengsan..
then air the room dont leave it all stuffy...clean sheets...blanket...
clothes, towel all got to jaga also..if wardrobe all not like close n has dust will easily trigger..

weather/ temperature..suddenly hot then cold also nose like pipe bocor..

Or to simplify what we said, buy an air purifier with humidifying feature would probably help TS if budget isn't an issue. biggrin.gif
