I'm looking to upgrade my home internet from Unifi Lite 8mbps to wireless broadband, because Unifi is not available in my area

there are several options that comes to mind:

Unifi Air - quite good, however they are now only offering the ZTE 4G LTE router, which performance are far worst then the previous Huawei B618-65D they had

Digi Unlimited - the Fair Usage Policy of 1TB (I even heard it has been reduced to 500GB??) & the fact that this does not come with any 4G LTE router, this seems to be my last resort

I don't have extensive knowledge about Maxis & Celcom offering, so anyone wants to share anything about them - you're welcome!

welp, let's just say it depends. Sometimes got mood to watch stream service + download everything from movies to games -safe to say well over 1TB

It seems Unifi Air is my safest bet, eventhough the latest included router might suck

Digi Infinite 150 after using 1TB the speed will be throttled to 10Mbps.m according to what I read in the digi thread. Sounds reasonable to me.

You may look in the Unifi Air thread, many have complaint that the ZTE router provided perform worst than B618. It can't even get the fullspeed, even if the coverage is good in your area

Digi Infinite is the best and get an unlocked B618 Huawei modem

Make sure you have 4G @ LTE in your area before you buy one

Best way buy a prepaid sim and do speedtest via your fon

ok. got it. but u must remember sometime even area is good depend on signal . my new house is best 4g+ coverage but inside house is not good. location of router is important.
unif air is sufficient for me, can even play sfv online and download ps games but not that lightninig speed and can stream netflix hd.

You can replace to your own favorite router later if you don't like the router but the plan is follow you as long as you subscribe it. There have many 4G routers out there, not necessary to use ZTE or Huawei.

This one should be better than the Huawei that you mention. I think this should be the best 4G router.

I can suggest you test all of the telco plan before decide switch over
People buy Huawei because of the feature of lock band i not sure other brand got offer such feature
but not necessary must be b618 there are a tons of alternative such as b525 but depends on what telco and the telco support which band
