Exora , is either a love or hate affair.

Love because of its space, power (really power) , stability and size.
CVT , I love CVT , but of course need to get used to monotonous gear shifting.

Hate - Because of high FC driving around town. Pampered GB (so far mine is behaving well) .

if you say update the engine, that I agree.
What they can do is to change the CVT gearbox to something like a standard 4-5 speed auto gearbox. DCT with wet clutch would be perfect.

Punch should had learned from Honda, how they designed a CVT to handle monstrous torque from the 1.5 turbo engine and without using CVT cooler  .

Then follow by increase the boost ; you and me know that Proton had to limit the boost pressure so that not to torture / destroy the CVT, otherwise the horsepower and torque can easily catch up with Honda's turbo.
