i think for mpv is just boil down to 2 choices
1. exora -
pros= big space, comfortable, powerful, good drive. esc with premium model.
cons= cvt quirkyness, be mindful of the och hose. is already old platform, but hope jiaji will not be replacing this. maybe update engine and gb.

2. serena
pros = big space, practical design, sliding handrest become chair
cons = not powerful

3. end 2021 you will get alza replacement model. if u can wait. maybe jiaji also launch around that time.

why others not chosen:
alza = reliable, but no esc, unstable at higher speed, too small size
ertiga = out of production, sparepart etc, no esc
sienta = out of production, smallish, but comfortable, powerdoor
wish/stream = is already third/fourth hand when reach your hand. steering rack issue with toyota. stream a bit jumpy at the back
brv =too small, not comfy at the back, too expensive in my opinion
aruz/avanza = sampan.

if just 2 of you, consider get a van also.. convert to campervan.
