Long time lurker of Hardware section, TristanX has made great hardware recommendations over the year (along with prasys, goldfries). I think we can all pretty much agree that Idealtech pricing isn't the lowest anymore but there's nothing wrong with businesses growing and increasing prices, everyone does that. The fact is they do charge higher prices now, so what's wrong with members criticising them for something that is true? These aren't mindless criticisms and members are just trying to help others secure the best deals possible with their hard earned money.

With their size now I am sure Idealtech can afford to ignore the post and do less sales instead of insulting a platform where they started and grew their business to the size today. They should rethink their target demographics and go for customers who want to pay for aftersale service instead of Lowyat members, since their pricing model is no longer suitable for price conscious consumers.
