I have an unused 3-pin round hole aircon wall outlet.

I want to use the outlet for my electric wall clock but it has a 3-pin flat plug.

I went to the electrical hardware shop to ask for an adapter but was told not available. The ones which are available are the slightly smaller 3 multi pin adapter which does not fit into the aircon outlet.

Is there an available adapter for it as I don't want to call in a electrician to change the wall outlet?

Change the faceplate or wall socket is a little difficult for a non-technical person like me. If there is an available adapter for it would be easier.

There's no harm if I use an electrical appliance of lesser voltage/amp on a larger voltage/amp wall outlet, is there? For a non-techie, I understand if it is the other way around then cannot.
