Anyone have manual guide how to shifting gear according to the front derailleur 3 speed? Mine have 8 speed derailleur behind, sometimes I use biggest front then smallest behind I feel I'm stressing the chain.

QUOTE(aquilaTE @ Apr 5 2021, 12:12 AM) Looking at the pic... I think better to get a preloved rear wheelset(or better both) rather than changing the rear hubs... less hassle plus probably cheaper? Were thinking to get full set like this https://shopee.com.my/product/1156231/18177...45-1617553113.9And on top of that... judging by the type of mtb and tourney groupset... you will need to change the BB as well. Not sure whether it's compatible or not. This post has been edited by jusbella: Apr 5 2021, 12:20 AM |

QUOTE(pretty23 @ Apr 5 2021, 09:49 AM) since you are aiming for whole group set and willing to spend on the most high end component, I suggest you direct go to famous bike shop order retail version XTR group set rather than those OEM version. Alright thank you very much. You can order XTR RIM set as well. Then it is complete XTR M9000 series. If order retail version come with so call warranty issue by Shimano Malaysia. |

QUOTE(pretty23 @ Apr 5 2021, 11:33 AM) LOL.. full XTR group set for full suspension MTB complete branded bike non of them less than RM13k. Never mind bro, will consider get new MTB I saw his MTB is full suspension foldable bike so I guess if he want to buy new bike also will aim full sus. That one is really costly. Lucky the hub converter is cheap. Rm20 can settle. LOL |

QUOTE(pretty23 @ Apr 5 2021, 11:42 AM) actually tourney 8 speeds group set very nice. Your tourney shifter is easy fire shifter? Yeah its easy shifter. There is some issue at smallest size rear derailleur, if bike hard it will just go up and go down back again, been aligned and fine tune many times still cannot solve the issue yet.In this price range really impeccable. Non of other competitor can beat it. Can share with us why you need to jump ship to XTR group set? |

QUOTE(pretty23 @ Apr 5 2021, 11:58 AM) The RD may be already end of life. It is due to rust or the spring issue. Just replace it with 8 speeds altus or acera or old model Alivio RD enough. That one below Rm90~Rm70 can settle. QUOTE(aquilaTE @ Apr 5 2021, 12:00 PM) I would usually think it's the H L screws not adjusted properly but since it's been tinker around, probably bend RD hanger or faulty RD? Thank guy for the input |
