Is it possible change mtb tyre 27.5, 2.25 to a hybrid tyre? No need change rim?

What is a hybrid tyre? One for offroad and gravel? As long as you get the right tyre size (27.5" diameter) then you don't need to change rims

Hybrid means can go on road and a bit on gravel.. coz I ride mostly on road, so want to look for tyre suitable for it.

My current tyre is 2.25 inch wide.. most road tyre is like less than 2.25.. maybe 1.5 to 1.9 I think. So not sure can fit stock rim or not..

You need to then look at the width of your stock rim and then check the specs of the new hybrid tyres you are buying. Each tyre size has a minimum rim width diameter it can support or maximum. Just check which hybrid tyres meet your rim specifications. That would be the cheapest option because if you want to change rims, you need to factor in the cost of a new hub and or if you want to to maintain your existing hub, you need to get your new rim with new spokes to your existing hub. Just make sure if you get a new rim, that it matches the number of holes your hub has.

no need change rim.

Just you want to make sure your current wheel is using tubeless or non tubeless. Mostly need to change is the inner tube if your current wheel is non tubeless.

example :

If your rim is AV then use back AV tube else FV use back FV tube.

Has anyone used the Kespor bike? Price-wise is quite cheap with the groupset offered. Is it genuine Shimano hmm.gif

Was thinking of getting a Kespor Opal for the longest time but I couldn't justify getting another bike to the wife. I don't think built bike brands use fake shimano groupsets. And the Kespor's gravel series use sram rival and shimano grx which are more expensive than the typical mtb deore.

No i don't ride it, the young stranger didn't allow me on his bike nor even let me help to fix it. He looked super confuse after i pointed out something hugely wrong on his bike. His toe feet keep on scrapping the front tire as he turn the steering and he seems to wiggle a lot when ever he corner. doh.gif I suggest him to visit the bike shop back and demand refund or get the bike fixed.
