Sorry, I still don’t follow. When you say you like MTB more, do you mean you like the activity or you like an MTB bicycle?

And if you are only going to be doing road rides, then this carbon Java MTB bike is not really suitable, imo.

But if you do intend to ride it in the off-road trails often (and maybe sometimes on tarmac road), then it is good enough for that purpose.

One straight forward question

Will you ride this bike on off road trail? Mountain biking tail or just on road ?

No experience with this brand and model, but a quick internet search reveals it’s a good enough entry-level MTB cross-country bike. And definitely suits the type of riding you do, based on your previous post.

No experience using java bikes

If you find roadbike is killing your back, you may consider hybrid. A cross between road bike + MTB.
More comfy if you are not that hardcore

I wanna ask something, for gravel and road rides mtb

those groupset which ones are nice? The Deore vs SRAM SX

and is the more expensive groupsets really worth for road rides, like what's the difference in the use on Deore vs Deore XT

Currently using cheap bike with altus RD and it doesn't shift that well

I’m partial towards Shimano , and for road rides on an MTB, either Deore or XT is good enough. But XT is pricier.

SRAM is priced higher than Shimano of the same range.
SRAM shifting is slightly faster ( commenting based on the XO1 I was using before I moved to XT). Faster a bit but not significant. Can say the same.
Shifting feel, SRAM is nicer as it is more "mechanical" feel.
Shimano shifting is smoother and more quiet.

Between deore and XT. Yes. Got difference when it comes to feel especially on the shifters. Could be due to xt shifter levers is using bearings.

However. Coming from altus. deore will be a huge jump for you, especially the latest 12x 6100 series.

Yeah
Either deore or xt.
Don't bother looking at slx. The price difference to xt is not huge. Might as well get xt. If not just stick to deore.
