I bought Doom3 and Quake 4

And it looks like Doom3 was and will be my last id game.

playing the game....and feel like just another disappointed game of the year with big title...no physis...and graphic just look too fake....cloud at the sky wont move at all.....

I'm done with this game and given that my first shooter on the PC was Quake and been a FPS fan ever since, RAGE was horrible, by Id Software standards.

Given Id's track record in the PC platform what we have here with RAGE is a mess.

1)The game wasn't playable right out of the box, buggy and glitched, no options for graphics tweaking (WTF!?!). Of course a patch was released but this isn't what you expect from a game developed by Id.

2)Id claimed the game was developed on the PC first. That's all horses***. There are low res textures everywhere and quitting the game takes you to a start screen and not the main menu as PC games are suppose to do!

3)The story is garbage. Id's mentality of 'a story in FPS is like a story in a porn flick' is getting old....unless you're designing a gonzo shooter like Serious Sam or Painkiller.

4)The gameplay was nothing new. Its as if the Id team were locked up in a basement and were oblivious that games like Borderlands,Fallout, MW, Bulletstorm were being made. I actually got bored towards the end and finished the game with cheats.

you dont read only from one source! this game is fun. get it if you can.

Rage is a stupid pathetic m0r0n lousy rubbish game ever made by id software.

Will decide all these later.
