Well it's not because PS3 is an inferior hardware to X360.
It's because Sony intentionally made the PS3 harder to program.

Tech 5 as a multi-platform engine will likely be behind time when it comes out. There is nothing in there that other engines couldn't do.
Previously they were able to cheat at the graphics curve by relying on insane system requirements, but with static console specs I'm guessing other engines/middlewares will eat Id for breakfast. |
