Has anyone completed all the sewer missions?

I am done with 5 of them.

Quite repetitive.

Just arrived at Sub-town.

Managed to explore most of the sewers save for two of them.

Too bad can't finish this.

Rage PC patch to improve 'blurry' textures

user posted image

QUOTE
Rage's "blurry" textures got you down? Fret no more, for id Software's techno-wizard John Carmack says that a new option in the next PC patch "will help alleviate" the problem.

"We have a bicubic-upsample+detail texture option for the next PC patch that will help alleviate the blurry textures in Rage," Carmack revealed on Twitter. It'll look prettier, you see.

Asked whether id would also be releasing higher-resolution textures, Carmack's reply made it look unlikely.

"Our first test of a higher res page file didn't help much, because most source textures didn't actually have any more detail," he responded.

There's no word yet on when this PC patch will arrive, nor what else might be in it.

I enjoyed having spider bots and turrets in firefights.

Finally something in FPS that actually assist me in fighting the opponents.

Are there more types of enemies in Subtown or is it more or less the same mutants / bandits / authorities?

i cant stop playing man. its been a looooooong time since the last good fps.
and agree on the facial animation...the characters looks so lively, unlike the shit that's in deux ex (and some dumbass gonna vote that for goty...wtf?!)

how many bots you can summon at one time? i had two but it didnt let me add more, maybe space issue. haha...i wanna build my army of sentry bots!
*
Just two.

Can't summon turrets after you summon two bots.

No offense but the rather poor choice of words (or sentence structure) made you sound sarcastic. If you liked the game, good for you.
I do too, i gave it a 7.5 / 10 a few pages back.

p/s: If you don't, good for you too.  smile.gif

Eh, where were you up to again?

Rumour: Bethesda "indefinitely postpone" Doom 4 after Rage

QUOTE
Industry whispers speak of Bethesda being thoroughly troubled by id Software's Rage and it's 'okay, but not great' reception among critics. Doom 4 on hold?

A source close to the publisher claims a "company wide" meeting held in Dallas resulted in Bethesda slamming the brakes. There's a "serious lack of confidence".

The alleged decision by Bethesda and ZeniMax stemmed from "the issues and reviews" of the recently released Rage, which has shown a "serious lack of confidence in the project management at id". The PC version has been heavily hit with technical woes.

The Rage development team was meant to switch to Doom 4 after the game was finished but that may now not be the case. Updates for Rage are still in the works as id develop a more extensive graphical options menu for the PC community.

The game's own system for determining how flashy the visuals are has failed, terribly, leaving most with blurred textures and horrendous 'texture pop-in'. For a while the PC community themselves worked to fix the problems, and to their immense credit; they did.

If true, is Bethesda right to force id Software to take a breather?

Update:  Bethesda VP of PR and Marketing Pete Hines has called the rumor "complete bollocks" on his personal Twitter account.

"Games are done when they are done and no title under development at id has been postponed – indefinitely or otherwise." he added.

Just completed Rage.

The final mission should have been more elaborate.

Perhaps, id is gonna make a DLC for this.

Ending sorta like Fallout 3. Cliffhanger.

is it a sign of aging? I noticed that I do not enjoy the rocket rally at all... ... esp at some later map. (But still replay until I got no.1)

I like the racing but not the rallies.

Especially late in the game.
