QUOTE(rainingzero @ Feb 13 2009, 06:23 PM) already doing some review on 125S, which i bought for my mom a few pages back. Uhm, why you said it is better to change after done all the mod?yeah, just like u said at 4th gear, i can't feel any torque at all. other than changing cdi, maybe u can try diff sprocket combination to overcome this prob. Lc135 also got limited rpm setted in the CDI. with anything stock, mostly will only unlocked from 9k rpm to 10k rpm....usually CDI will only changed after u've done other mod on ur engine such as camshaft, piston head, valve spring, etc since the effects is minimal with stock engine.... about the V-power petrol, tested today, filled up my tank full and tackling corners near my workplace. actually i felt that the effects on my engine performance is minimal, hardly noticible...i can only feels a slight better in acceleration, but its also might affect by my newly changed engine oil.. for engine oil, as what being told by other forumer b4 and also in the manual, the sweet spot to change our engine oil after 3k km is confirmed true. i am using fully synthetic oil, after 2900 to 3000km, i can feel my engine performance slightly degraded. after changing new engine oil, my engine performance back to normal again... yup, we can still use our EO up to 4-5k km, but if u are always riding ur bike with its true potential, then 3k km is a good limit... I plan to get the Thailand Original CDI which is the stock 125X should be, arent thats more simple? how much those mod cost?? camshaft, piston head, valve spring? why this mod the effect is minimal with stock engine? Does those mod spoiled the bike's warranty? uhm, abt the engine oil, arent we change every 1,500km? you all change every 5000km? QUOTE(charge-n-go @ Feb 13 2009, 08:36 PM) Added on February 13, 2009, 8:40 pm Try replacing the EFI to carburetor. It may help you to gain the speed that you should have. FZ150 also has this problem. One of my friends replace the EFI to 28mm carb, and he can go from 140kph max to 170kph max. Anyway, just for your reference, please ask someone who are more expert. It's js my 2 cents. what is EFI? 28mm card? and abt how much the cost of changing those? Is it illegal and spoiled the motorcycles warranty? |

I have shaved off 0.6mm from the cylinder head and the compression ratio is about 12.0:1. The engine is more powerful now, but there is still no way to keep up even with a stock 125Z 2-stroker. shaved off cylinder head.. i thought we were talking bout stock engine let me correct myself standard compression was 560 kPa 5.6 kg/cm2, minimum compression is 490 kPa 4.9 kg/cm3 and max 630 kPa 6.3 kg/cm2. at 500rpm |

I am using stock engine with cylinder head shaved. Stock is 10.9:1. I have no tools to measure compression. 10.9:1 is relative to the engine cc. I think you should know that long formula to calculate since u r good in compression stuff

Is it illegal and spoiled the motorcycles warranty? and its 28mm carb, not card. Carb = carburetor. I dunno if it is legal or not, but definitely it will void warranty. Please mod it when the warranty is over |
