alrite..now i wanna add mine..driving 1.6 satria auto..but changed to manual already..use this car since 2003..

so far here's the prob when it is still auto:2003-2006

1. Throttle body..the most common one..up until now, i've changed like 3 times already. n one costing like Rm6++!
2. Air -cond compressor...change two times already...if u don't change, ur engine noise will prone to have a very noisy squeek sound.damn irritating!
3. Leaking from beneath my engine...due to what? unknown. until now got.
4. Drive shaft almost broke - due to hard-driving and cornering ( i'm do touge.)
5. Engine distributor kong - i think this is because i drive like hell for a long period of time.
6. spark plug cable change twice... n it cost rm2++ one!

2006- now. ( gearbox auto kong due to hard riving too. hampeh! )

7. radiator almost kong- already sent to flush it..but car temp seems to go high if i drive above 140km/h. will be change soon...damn..how much will this cost??
absober ,spring, headlights,backlights,light from the spoiler,plate number lights have been changed for may times. except my Sportlight. the only one that stays in good condition.

so my conclusion here is....because proton can derive more power than perodua...its tempting. so, i strongly agree that all the broken parts or breakdown that relates to the drivetrain or engine are due to the way we drive... i myself experience this. maybe if we drive carefully..."bwk mcm org tua" people say..then ur proton car will survive longer n lasts longer....

what u expect? Proton have been using a cheap material...n its material will break if we drive the car too hard. sum even drive their wira all the way 160km/h above on the highway. seriously...i tink thats the main cause..but ofcoz, most of us still unaware of it...since evyone nowdays drive like hell. even after minyak naik. look at city n vios owner. how fast they go at the highway. haha! not trying to bash them, but its the truth...

so all im saying is...maybe its the way we drive...well, the problems such as power windows, door handle n so on are exceptional..that one is jaz stupid for proton..damn them. haha!

who ask me? nobody.. but since a lot of proton satria manage to put a shame to japanese car, so why not eh? LOL!

btw thats not the point...jaz saying that if we drive hard, then it won't last really long...esp proton car.

For proton car to do touge, it must modded a bit to strengthen the chasis ( double weld,ultra racing bar) for xtra stability..if not, the car will putus dua wei. hahahahha!

n yes..thats exactly what i'm saying.

now proton waja cps gets higher chance of having breakdowns compare to other model....since the new performance makes u wanna rev all day n night. but its pity some of them even experience the unusual breakage...hmm..

how does proton cover that?
