Fuiyo door handle broke also wanna make a thread...complain to SC lah!!

It's not a big problem, as long as it's isn't ur Engine, gearbox, sensors and brakes giving problem....those will cost u a nuclear bomb.

1 door handle for 2 years...no need to be so furious...

No doubt Proton quality is low....just complain to proper channel.

I just want to know, what does LMST stand for?

Anyway, why don't you try COE? Should be better kua? Also, did u make an appointment or just walk in? If you made an appointment then they ask you to leave the car there, then can complain kaw-kaw lah. Maybe u should call Proton i-Care to complain?

Make sure you complain!!!

Going to 1st service this friday for my Savvy.

Got following problems which will complain:
(1) Squeaky clucth...which i DIYed and kau-tim with some WD-40.
(2) Petrol cover damn hard to open since day 1, i think my wife will scream if she tries to fill up petrol...there's no way she can open it...me myself have to hurt my fingers to open it.
(3) Some rusty bolts behind disc brake.
(4) Front passenger seat belt...sometimes cannot pull (like locked).
(5) Some mild squeaky noise coming from somewhere recently...not sure what or where.....but maybe i try to emptied out the stuff from my car and monitor again.

I hope at least they'll fix the petrol cover problem, that's the major problem so far...can't open petrol cover to fill petrol is no small issue when u run out of fuel!!!......so much for TUV.

My Myvi nearly 6 months now...except some rust in the rear door hinges, it still runs like day 1.

Let's see how they address my issue....or will they give me the standard answer..."Biasa-lah Bang....Proton!!".

=======
Updated:

I called up Proton-I-care and let them know my problems and asked them to highlight the issue to Mutiara Damansara SC.....so that the issue is recorded down at HQ.... brows.gif

I think that's what been advised by the Star recently...on how to get good service from your car SC....call up the HQ and have it recorded down so that it is follow up......can't say "don't know" already.
======
Updated 7/9/07:

So much for Proton-I-care. When i asked the SC, he said have not receive such message from HQ...3 days cannot pass a simple complain message? Don't they have that thing call COMPUTERS in front of them?? doh.gif So much for "we'll follow up with the SC and ensure the problems are addressed to...blah blah..."by the I-care service staff.

No point wasting money on advertisment, nice orange I-care cars, nice new uniforms, when a simple thing of passing a message (it's not even a major complain), can't be done in 3 days.

I think i'm going to write in to the media and just let them know it's another waste of tax payer sponsored money.

So dissappointed....cheh.

Looks like it's Proton-i-don't-give-a-damn.

Bought my savvy in 07 and when bought it they mentioned they will give 5 years warranty but i realized they give only 2 years. Complained to Proton I Care they say Savvy is not covered for 5 years warranty, but they still wanted all my info like Insurance letters, geran. After fax to them they say sorry not covered in the 2007 5 year warranty. Than why in the first place ask me to fax all the info to them. I believe they are bullshitting me. But anyway Savvy has serious problems with the AMT.
*
Default is 2 years warranty, but did you buy the extended warranty? I bought my Savvy in 07 too. I paid a bit extra for the extended warranty (can't remember how much...around RM200 to RM300 i think). I have a certificate of extended warranty that cleary states 5 years or 125,000km, whichever comes first.

Do you have this certificate?

ouchhh...I noticed another thing they swapped today...!! My silicon wiper...they swapped with the common type...!!!
Gosh....I really dunno how many unseen things they had swapped...!!!

Are you sure it's the same car?? Maybe all they swapped was the plate number....sweat.gif

That is incorrect. I just read the warranty cert this morning. It actually covers quite a lot like:
Engine, Transmission, Electrical, and quite a number of other stuff.

So quite worth it actually. But of course lar, if you really claim then, they might have hidden T&C which we will never know...

Hi all,

Wanna share this link where i stumbled upon just now.
So if we kept sending our cars to sc and kept having problem. We can do that?

Source of the news

Undang-undang Limau tidak sah di Malaysia... laugh.gif

But you can complain to consumer tribunal, make the case big enough, maybe the manufacturer will refund you or replace ur car. I think there were cases like this before.

While waiting for servicing our Honda City, we saw a man throwing his car key madly, complaining & shouting at the man at the counter. After like 10 minutes, he walked to his Honda Accord.

*silence at SC.........*

I said to my husband, "pay very expensive also got problem..".

Now we have sold our Honda City (to keep only 1 car) & drive Gen2. No problem so far after 2 years.

My friend's Perodua MyVi got her cylinder head deformed.

My auntie paid 3k for her Sonata's engine problem to get fixed.

Wait until you can afford an expensive car & you'll still face problem.
*
At least, when you buy the cheaper car, usually cheaper to fix also. tongue.gif The guy with the BMW...no brakes...shocking.gif...reminds me of the LEXUS which continue to accelerate and killed it's driver....

Anyway, i love my Protons.... flex.gif Savvy after 4 years+, only minor issues. And Inspira rocks!
