Sounds to me that the car is in "Limp" mode. Something is wrong and the engine won't let you go past 3000 to save itself.
Is the engine check light on? What sensor is changed, or did you mean the SC changed all of them? Have the SC checked for any error code from the engine?

I believe normally they will pug in and check for faulty codes . And change some sensors but my friend still facing this problem .
His wife drives it daily so i suggest him to get it fix because getting out of junction and over taking with limited rpm will be dangerous

If it's the CVT, it might come from that. Faulty knock sensors can also cause this.

I have a problem with my car. GEN-2 CPS
My ABS light on the dasboard lit, it means my ABS is not functioning.
I sent my car to the SC, they plug-in their computer to check for the error code and found my rear left tyre got ABS problem.
They changed the sensor but the error is not cleared. After that the SC sent to their panel to check for any wiring problem since the sensor is not a problem. Wiring guys said there is no issue with the wiring.

Anyone here experienced this kind of situation, I really need advice.

she doesnt need over 3k rpm to overtaking or getting out junction in CVT. 2.5k is enough.
The car lock the rpm around 3k to protect gearbox.

WTF ? U know what u're talking? Which car has rev limit at like 6-7k rpm but locks at 3k rpm

instead of the word "lock", i think better explained as the ratio of the.
Preve can reach 100km in 2.2~2.5k rpm, 3k+ rpm can reach 140km, 5k rpm already near 170km.
so what is the top speed of the car had been reach so far? can reach 140~160km/h?

My old honda honda city and my wife insight is using CVT . i know how cvt works

i also drive CVT in jazz besides Preve~ but it react different,
it doesnt need top speed, how about 120~130km? what RPM during that speed?
i driving Preve CFE, 120km rpm still below 3k, other owner that have tried top speed like 200km/h only need 4+k to 5k and maximun rpm i heard is around 5.5k.
If you car doesnt have error code, then try to test it yourself, without info, nobody can help.

I can see that when I closed the door, there is a slight gap, and I can hear the air from outside. And the door does have sounds, not too audible, but annoying nonetheless.

Can anyone advise me on this?

Or would the rubber restorer solution works to cure the problem ?
