Yup.

Not sure whether you can extend your budget, but Legion 5 AMD with 80Wh battery is a good choice
*
Noted, that actually seems like the best choice 😯

Which is more important to you, display or CPU performance?

12hrs of battery life is a bit unrealistic

1. Budget : Max RM13500.
2. Usage : Coding, video editing, designing, gaming.
3. Requirements : Must be fast to do programming and rendering, reliable brand, max 15 inch display, great battery life, fast charging, not more than 2.5 kg in weight, nice feeling keyboard, min i7 - 10 generation, min 32GB RAM, min 1TB SSD.

I was thinking to take New Alienware M15 R3 - custom OR New Dell XPS 15 - custom.

Do you guys have any other recommendations?

Thanks.

Display>weight>battery life>speaker placement and camera quality

probably best battery life within the budget with rapid charge capability.

Not looking for any particular OS. But if other brands have better Specs compared to Mac then will consider.
