Guys, I think i've read here that the d-pad are prone to crack but the newer batch is ok. The newer batch also slides better right? How do I know whether the phone that I'm buying is from the newer batch?

Ok guys, my gf's phone is a AP unit, the only chinese language in the phone is traditional chinese, is there any way to add simplified chinese? Thanks.
