Yup, agree too...sometimes just a logo also will let ppl saying that "water set"....

By the way, no matter vodafone or SE logo on it ... it still a SE phone..
just vondapone put their logo as advertisment purpose....

Lets give you some example so that you understand...

For example.... as we all know MAXIS is a mobile phone line service provider....
let say they wanna do promotion, they come out a package, if you suscribe their line you will get a free phone.... but that phone will put MAXIS logo ( for advertising purpose) ... i think is something like this....

Please keep in mind this is an EXAMPLE... let me know if i describe wrong ya.. ^.^


Different on SE phone and vodafone is beside the logo different.....
you might found that the PLAY NOW in the menu also different...
mostly PLAY NOW in SE phone is link to SE web site.....
but vodafone might link to Vondaphone website....

And maybe is lock to only for vodafone line only..other line cannot use....
But if come to malaysia already sure been unlock liow la... if not who wanna buy o ?

Where you live ? If in kl , then go Lowyat plaza buy lo.... see the phone on the spot... touch it ,see it , feel it .... if like just buy, dun like just go for other shops...

Sure lo sure lo...me went there original want buy W810i one... wan original Midland some more.... mana tau, black color tak ada stock...ok i go for white color, then say gonna wait 1 hour coz they gonna order stock (but i rush for movie so i din wait) ....then i go for AP ...mana tau AP price is almost same as midland , only 50 to 80 ringgit different.......

then at the end i buy W850i...hehe after some friend giving comment that better go for 3G phone insteal of non 3G.... i love this phone much much ^.^

What you have to do is go do survey on price... compare then buy.... but one thing can sure that is price might be expensive 20 to 90 ringgit if you buy online lo.....

Come on man, i copy my stuff in no matter theme , game , application , the phone will automatic put for me once i click install, then is it wrong i use the word "depends" ?

is depend on what thing you puting in... you put game in , after install will go in game folder...

errmmm i just follow the normal update way which stated in 1st page of this discussion and SE website...


this is wat i do...
--> goto http://www.sonyericsson.com.my
--> click Support
--> choose phone model
--> click sonyericsson update service
--> download the update service file (Update_Service_Setup-2.6.11.7.exe)
--> install....then the rest i just follow the instruction ... this is what i do...

are you doing the same thing ? or ?

Hmm i not sure is your phone problem or firmware problem....
i bought my phone that time is R1GB001....but i use for only 2 week like that then flash to new firmware already....

during using R1GB001 firmware period.... never face your problem before...
but i face other problem which is "Huge size movie will hang during preview"

Well if you din mind about the Walkman Orange Light issue, you can have a try on upgrade to latest firmware then use for a period see still got this problem or not....

Or you can wait a while see any user here are still using the R1GB001 and see they got similiar problem as you or not before you go for firmware upgrade

You got install the PC-Suites before you plug in the USB cable ?

And

Does your phone work properly in File Transfer mode ?

Please refer to 1st page of this treat , post no 3 in MISCELLEANEOUS section...
but... if you dis-assemble it ... you might void warrantty.... think before you do...

From your software code there ... we can know that you now using R1GB001 version of firmware..... (Latest firmware is R1JG001)

Update firmware is an optional.. not a must.

Notice... in version R1GB001 ... there is a special thing " Walkman orange light effect trick"

but if you upgrade to latest version R1JG001.... the special trick will no longer work anymore...


About what the latest firmware had fix.... this...i not sure 100%...
but confirm got fix "Huge Size Video hang during video preview problem at file manager."

So...if you still need the walkman orange light effect.... then just use the old firmware no need upgrade...

Well i last time facing problem in Phone Mode too... ..but my one different abit....
transfer until half way... connection DC....

but wat i do is upgrade firmware to latest... and off the phone, unplug battery and re-plug again.... problem not so often liow...but still exists.....

Most of the user here advise me use File transfer mode....
