Had anyone tried the new Digi NEXT48 5G plan and finished up all the 10GB hotspot quota and still manage to use the 45GB quota for hotspot purpose?

anyone could confirm the latest edisi kuning plan will allow user to continue utilize main quota after hotspot quota exhausted? Or ought to buy the RM6 15GB add on as mentioned in the FAQ?

QUOTE(petpenyubobo @ Mar 1 2024, 02:39 PM) Main quota and hotspot quota are separate. If hotspot quota depletes, your main quota is still untouched. This seems to be a disadvantage for some who are currently using the next 48 5G plan mainly for hotspot. As the old next48 plan will continue to deduct from main quota after hotspot quota fully depletedIf your hotspot quota is finished, you cannot hotspot anymore but can still continue using the main quota on your phone. My hotspot data consumption is actually heavier than my main quota due to use of it in my car's Android Audio, tablet viewing, work laptop and occasional backup when my fixed line goes down. The hotspot quota is actually a big lifesaver for many people. |

QUOTE(Sam Leong @ Mar 2 2024, 11:42 AM) I can constantly get speed 100Mbps+ eventhough in merged tower (MRT / Kepong / Kuantan) Similar experience for the Kajang line MRT. Initially it was 2CA (B3+B7) on Digi and 4G only (B7) for Celcom. After the integration, Celcom B7 was shutdown and Digi B1 was activated and main PLMN from Digi to Celcom (similar to most post-integration sites). The 4G+ speed on my Poco F5 reach almost 300Mbps. To be frank, I'm satisfy with merger as a Celcom user. Started to receive 4G signal near the 99 speedmart at ParkPlace, close to UiTM Dengkil. Previously I have both close to no signal on both of my Celcom and Maxis dual SIM. Now my Celcom can use the Digi tower nearby.[attachmentid=11492139] But not really stable for MRT , sometimes it shows full bar but no speed at all The trip to Bukit Fraser last year was remarkable for me as well. My friend on Digi could receive similar signal strength with my Celcom SIM along the journey from Kepong until the peak of the hill. The coverage is definitely way better than Maxis. Overall I'm satisfy with the merger This post has been edited by jasontanky: Mar 2 2024, 04:22 PM |

QUOTE(Sam Leong @ Mar 2 2024, 07:03 PM) I half half satisfy with the merger as they did not do optimisation correctly for some newly integrated area such as Kuantan and KL The 4G handover still not good in partially integrated area as far as I could notice. Crossing LDP Sunway tol will also have chance of fail to handover from CelcomDigi (Subang) to Celcom (Puchong) when I put my phone on 4G which the network almost disconnect itself. Hopefully they could speed up the entire merger process.Imagine u doing voice call along the road the u get stuttered voice and dropped call for n times (Kuantan) and unable to open banking apps and perform transactions or checking when u have full 4G signal on your phone But definitely the coverage was way better than last time For MRT Putrajaya Line network I found their network is still unstable compared to Maxis. Usually between Jalan Ipoh - Hospital Kuala Lumpur 4G full bar < 1Mbps plus high latency and drop call rate MRT wise I barely travel beyond TRX on Putrajaya line so I couldn't tell. However, the Taman Naga Emas outdoor station has both weak 4G signal from Celcom and Digi itself which integration alone wouldn't help. They should really consider to add a tower nearby the station. Maxis has full 4G+ there. Quite important as the 5G signal was too weak so even a 5G compatible device wouldn't solve This post has been edited by jasontanky: Mar 2 2024, 11:23 PM |

QUOTE(Sam Leong @ Mar 3 2024, 10:26 PM) So far when I travel along MRR2 from Digi - CelcomDigi - Digi tower handover so far so good, but not good from MRT Putrajaya Line tunnel section (CelcomDigi) - Jalan Ipoh (Digi), totally No Service and my phone will pop up "Unable to activate mobile network" For MRT wise I have no idea. MRT Putrajaya integration is really one of a kind compared to all other CelcomDigi integration that I encountered personally. All CelcomDigi integrated sites regardless it is Digi-ZTE cluster in North and Central or Celcom-Huawei cluster in South and East coast, the main PLMN is always gonna be 502 19(MY CELCOM) and the secondary one will be 502 16(Digi). However, the MRT Putrajaya line seems to be the opposite one. Even the recently integrated MRT Kajang line follow the common conventionHowever, when entering the tunnel from Kuchai Lama. My phone will experience total disconnect until I put my phone in airplane mode and back again. Both Celcom and Maxis shared the similar issue. No fix for over a year |

QUOTE(lolabunny123 @ Nov 22 2024, 07:48 AM) What is the difference between signing up for a CD postpaid plan from DiGi or Celcom store yeah? Previously I MNP into CD at Celcom store my network says that I’m on Celcom network. Then now when I MNP my other number to CD at DiGi store, my network shows as DiGi. Same signal strength, but core network different, so depends on which services (websites or apps) u used, certain games might have better or worse latencyAre these both on the same network if I’m at location where Network Integration has completed? grazy liked this post

It is hard to address co-channel interference even for modern AAU today. Therefore it is kinda expected to have poor speed despite good signal. This is why indoor MRT 4G+ speed is way faster than your average outdoor 4G+ speed, because there was no interference from nearby cell sites

QUOTE(therain01 @ Jun 10 2025, 09:05 AM) Hi. I just get myself a digi prepaid. While everyone seems getting some goodies from my Mydigi apps, i can't seems to find any good offer. No BOS is offered to me like what you guys have. I can't seems to find the new NX amd UV plans offered to me as well. Is this normal for new activated SIM? I will need to call service center if this is not normal. are you a foreigner? And on the main page top left, it shows Raja Kombo instead of CelcomDigi Edisi Kuning right![]() ![]() |

My Celcom NX25 is receiving additional 10GB for my third renewal, which I got total of 50GB (allow hotspot) compared to the old the new NX25 plan is the way to go after they decided not to give the additional 24GB hotspot quota

QUOTE(kit2 @ Sep 5 2025, 10:00 PM) no good. in my house, digi was 3-4 bars. now digi only 1 bar. i bet they merged digi towers into celcom towers. For Peninsula Malaysia, southern and eastern region: Kept and upgrade Celcom sites, dismantle Digi sites unless very weak or no Celcom coverage. If central and northern, the opposite happen |
