Digi network may get even more congested with these plans coming up.
lowya RM1 daily unlimited doesn't interested you, this might.

Unlimited postpaid for only RM60 with no speed capped.

Any review on Digi fibre? If I saw correctly now the 100mbps is RM90.

Where did you see that?  rclxub.gif
RM90 is 50mpbs plan, and 100mbps is RM130.

And you can only get unlimited postpaid (two maximum) with no speed cap for RM60 on 100mbps fibre plan.
That's RM130 (fibre) + RM60 (postpaid) + RM60 (postpaid) = RM250 total excluding SST
*
I sware it was there yesterday evening. I check around 7++ PM and I quickly filled in the form. I'll wait and confirm again when they call me. If true 100mbps RM90 and not a mistake like TM did, I will jump over.

QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ Oct 2 2020, 10:42 PM)
Now with Digi Internet Freedom Mobile 60, hopefully they will reconsider the price point of Digi Postpaid Infinite 100 and Digi Postpaid 150 Infinite.

Anyway, this is essentially MaxisONE Prime ! Good to see another mobile carrier going down this route.
It was there earlier around 7PM when one clicked ‘check coverage’. Luckily I did take a screenshot of it.

Thank you for sharing this. My bad too excited and I forgot to screenshot it. If I can get RM90 for 100mbps I can convert my Digi postpaid line to unlimited.

Any update from your side? I receive a call to confirm my registration. Upon asking further, the RM90 100mbps plan is Digizen Homefibre, apparently only for staff. Did they mess up something by showing the earlier cheaper plan on their website?
I am asking them to double check before i commit.

They called and informed me the same thing. Problem with DiGi Fibre is that they couldn't install fibre service while maintaining my existing fibre ISP - I have to terminate my existing one, free up the port, then only they can install - which means we will face a period without fibre service.

Wonder why can't switching fibre service made simpler just like MNP?
*
Actually the whole process is a switching process. Digi will assign you a transfer ID which you need to bring to current ISP in order to release the line to Digi. This way you will still maintain your current port.

it happened to me twice, back in 2018 i ported into digi's postpaid and when they increased price i opt to port out but telemarketing offered infinitez 100 but discounted RM20 for 1 year(effectively RM80 for infinitez 100 from 2019 til OCT 2020). So for OCT 2020, i'm paing for full price which is the reason i wanted to port out and I ended up with telemarketing offering me this 50GB unlimited no cap data+unlimited calls (SMS will charge 0.20cents/sms IINM) for RM48 with tax for 2 years.

gonna check test water to see whether the whole package is what they said. So far in mydigi app it says MI Digi 50 (s)
*
Sounds too cheap to be true. Have you check if this plan got any speed cap? Can do hotspot?

yeah, i was hesitant but willing to try as if there are T&C that i'm not satisfied then i'll just go through with my port in the next month.

as for your questions: no speed cap and hotspot data usage will just deduct from the 50GB. Means 50GB clean for each month and whatever hotspot usage will be within this 50GB.

Thinking of downgrading from Infinite 150 to Postpaid 80. Since at home already have Unifi and no travel in the next year (roaming pass not needed). What else do I lose if I downgrade the plan?

Need to recontract?

Speed got any difference between the two plans?
*
Nothing to lose, no contract, and no speed cap. In fact if you do not use much, can even go lower and take Postpaid 59.

QUOTE(UrbanGraduate @ Nov 23 2020, 06:38 AM)
DiGi is the literally the worst telco in my opinion

1. Unsolicited spam calls/text from Sohoj, their Bangladesh partner despite making formal complaints

2. Terrible coverage everywhere and especially in my residential area, barely any LTE

3. Shady advertising. Advertised early free upgrade on 18th month for tier 1 phones (Flagships). So I picked one on launch month only for the device to be ineligible for upgrade exactly 18 months later like wth? Then don't advertised that way la

4. My postpaid is never charged consistently lol, sekejap that amount, sekejap this and mind you this had nothing to do with apps or subscriptions. I suspect hidden charges
*
1. Not only Digi, but happen to all telco. Just another unlucky number that got spam I suppose.
2. No telco can be perfect in coverage in M'sia. You have to test all of them and find the one with best coverage in your area. You know why ppl call Celcom the king of jungle?
3. this one if feel cheated can complain to MCMC. Can't comment more because need to look at the full T&C.
4. Don't blindly pay your bill. Check the statement to find out what are those charges that makes it inconsistent.
One good example always happen to postpaid with unlimited calls. ppl always think they can call any number they like without knowing that the T&C actually mentioned that calls to special numbers are not free.

Hello all, I couldn't find Digi Internet Freedom reviews on lowyat yet so I thought I would like to say I applied for Digi RM90 50mbps. Been using it for nearly a month. Fire away your questions if you got any.

I can't fully review the internet since... it's all good so far? I'm waiting for some hiccups, that would be fun to write about. Oh, as for the speeds, I am getting 47ish mbps download and 26ish mpbs upload. Still miles better than Unifi's RM89 30mbps download and 10mbps upload.
*
I think people would be particularly interested on torrent speed and speedtest to various server like Singapore, Europe, and so on. You can give you review in the thread to help out.

Just take it with a pinch of sault. No telco in Malaysia for that matter can give you a definite answer.

This was not informed beforehand to existing customers.

Which plan are you on that has unlimited SMS? Most higher tear Digi postpaid only gives 300 SMS.

QUOTE(ckimsem @ Feb 16 2021, 11:32 AM)
I said budget plans.
You considered RM99 (or RM79 with current offer) a budget plan  confused.gif . And, RM59 promo is ONLY for those with fiber subscription.
To me, even RM59 is NOT a budget plan.
*
Just curious, need so many SMS for what purpose?

Nope, Digi higher-tier plans bundles with 1000 SMS, and mid-tiers are 300.

I'm simply replying to MystiqueLife.
Well, I don't use SMS, but in rare instance like Shoppee verification (although incoming), I'm getting charged for it. So, having a few SMSes could avoid such charges though it's not much.
*
Strange. I never get charge for Shopee SMS.

Not the OTP verification from bank when you’re making payment.
I meant the Shoppee login one, and it’s not 100% getting charged though.
My credit deducted (prepaid plan) after getting the login OTP to Shoppee with Hotlink (15cents) and Unifi Mobile (10cents) on different accounts (not active anymore now).
*
I sometimes request up to a few OTP a day from shopee login and never get charged. Are you saying base on experience using Digi, or just assume the same thing With Unifi and Hotlink? Are you sure those charges are from Shopee not from other random SMS platform?

Yeah, I think only UniFi Air the highest plan; and Maxis has unlimited SMS.
Heck, don't need unlimited; having 100 a month is more than sufficient.

It's absurd that I am given 30 GB a month data but I can't even utilize 1 GB a month because the 4G connection is so rubbish.

U-Mobile: 0.01 - 1.2 Mbps
Maxis: 1 - 7.8 Mbps
DiGi: 0.2 - 3.84 Mbps

Geez. ranting.gif
*
That is why sometimes it is not only about pricing, but good coverage and speed in places you live, work and play. No telco can claim to have the best of everything in Malaysia. My case, Digi and Maxis doesn't perform well in office. But at home Digi rank number 2 after Maxis. Celcom has good coverage but not so much in terms of speed.

I have my old line given to my mom. Digi campus, 1 yr validity. She will always wait till balance validity less than 4 days, then only reload rm5. The rm5 will then extend validity for 1 yr.

I tested with 6 days balance and reload rm5, it doesn't extend validity as the 6 days is longer than the 5 days u reloaded, and yes it doesn't stack.
*
Hahaha I envy you. Don't know for what reason my Digi campus no longer get 1 year validity since 2017. Call charges has also revise from 18cent to 20cent if i remember correctly. So at that time since I constantly need small amount of data, I switch it to Digi Postpaid 38 for unlimited calls and a few gb of data.

Ah mine also call rates revised. I think 20 cents too. But still yearly renewal. I sign this up when I was in UTAR and they had a booth somewhere. Now I pass it to my mom.

For me, I'm still waiting for bigbonus rm18. Damn digi
*
I think that is hard to come by, but good luck. Wonder if there is still any plan cheaper than RM30 with unlimited call? I can compromise on my data, since now I have 9GB monthly, plus 1gb everyday from 1 PM to 7 PM. I hardly utilise those data since I have Wifi at home. Only need data when I'm outside or in the office.

Ya lo. Mine is bigbonus rm28 with 7gb data + 3gb loyalty data + daily 1-7pm 1gb + 1gb digi productivity data and unlimited calls.

I will prefer the bigbonus 18 though. Damn still waiting. No line come close to free calls with small data than bigbonus 18. There is yoodo rm12 for 4000 min calls, but I boycott yoodo coz a few years back, the line got disrupted on my important interview day and made me anxious for the interview.

There's also the BeOne RM10 free unlimited calls + 1gb data. But sadly, BeOne hard to find agent. Find online agent, they don't accept IC with watermark. Still waiting for them to allow online port in
*
I would prefer the big telco not those MLM or MVNO actually. To me Beone or Yoodo is good for the calls, can replace house landline.

DiGi revised their Truly High Speed NEXT35 from 40GB to 30GB. If I keep it auto renewed will it have 40GB or 30GB?
*
That depends on the T&C whether it affects existing users or only for new subs.

QUOTE(tympg @ Mar 22 2021, 01:02 PM)
Digi never stopped charging voicemail access for all their plans.

See my post #2381 above for all the "special numbers" which are not included in the normal rates calls.
*
Haha people still use voicemail nowadays? To me the missed call alert is good enough I never need voicemail.
