Hi guys, decided to port out of Digi Infinitez 100 and today received the call from digi tele-marketer.

The lady over the phone offered a digi post paid package of RM53(tax included) for unlimited data+unlimited calls+3GB tethering.

I've asked whether there is an even lower package deal, she proposed a 50GB data+unlimited calls, no internet speed cap @ RM48(tax included). I took this and decided not to port out.

it happened to me twice, back in 2018 i ported into digi's postpaid and when they increased price i opt to port out but telemarketing offered infinitez 100 but discounted RM20 for 1 year(effectively RM80 for infinitez 100 from 2019 til OCT 2020). So for OCT 2020, i'm paing for full price which is the reason i wanted to port out and I ended up with telemarketing offering me this 50GB unlimited no cap data+unlimited calls (SMS will charge 0.20cents/sms IINM) for RM48 with tax for 2 years.

gonna check test water to see whether the whole package is what they said. So far in mydigi app it says MI Digi 50 (s)

yeah, i was hesitant but willing to try as if there are T&C that i'm not satisfied then i'll just go through with my port in the next month.

as for your questions: no speed cap and hotspot data usage will just deduct from the 50GB. Means 50GB clean for each month and whatever hotspot usage will be within this 50GB.

i don't actually, but the telemarketer didn't provide anymore lower so i just go with this..PM me if you can do it

I have been experiencing multiple missed calls(notified via miss-call sms) and poorer quality of calls(dropped calls/statics/call stutters/unable to call out) even though i'm in a familiar place where i have never experienced such incidents (home).

My guess is most likely due to the 3G sun-setting initiative of Digi. Might think of porting again.
