correction: credit limit is maximum of how much creditor will "lend" to you.you can "spend" RM2000/month even on RM500 credit limit. just pay frequently to keep available amount below limit.

QUOTE(perfect10 @ Aug 20 2021, 06:08 PM) question on digi family plan, how does share quota works? lets say my principal line still got balance 40GB and i am the family plan supplementary line and my data maxed out at 50GB. what must I do to tap into my principal line balance data, for the share quota? PRIMARY need to subscribe to internet sharing add-on (RM10), which will enabled supplementary to withdraw data from PRIMARY.Each line will start each period with their quota as usual. No addition or reduction. Each SUPPLEMENTARY retain their quota, this is not shared with the primary and other supplementaries. Only PRIMARY quota will be shared towards the supplementaries. PRIMARY quota will be utilised first by SUPPLEMENTARY. After PRIMARY is depleted, then it will consume SUPPLEMENTARY quota. Control the amount of withdrawal allowed by each SUPPLEMENTARY through MyDigi app. Set to minuscule amount to disable from withdrawing further. QUOTE(perfect10 @ Aug 20 2021, 09:17 PM) okie TQ, my primary never subscribe cause we thought its auto shared allocation when the supplementary runs out. Celcom legacy postpaids and current Maxis postpaids will instead combine all the quotas from both primary and supplementaries; all draw from combined quota.I'm not sure about Celcom Mega if still use same mechanism for internet sharing. Allocation through MyMaxis and CelcomLife, same like MyDigi, but the stupid thing with CelcomLife is, you need to redo allocation for each new billing period. |

QUOTE(joshhd @ Sep 15 2021, 09:06 PM) Airplane mode disables the SIM altogether. Cannot be used to test. What I did is, switch on WiFi AND set Digi SIM NOT to use 4G (drop to 3G or 2G). My VoLTE icon for Digi SIM slot gets replaced with VoWiFi. |

QUOTE(chrischiang @ Sep 19 2021, 09:47 PM) airplane mode voWIFI is working.. i got my digi friend help me to test out.. The only thing I hate of Digi network is ....i will probably port to digi once my maxis contract end.. once i port in to digi, can i immediate sign contract for iphone 13 pro? the normal contract not the freedom.. last i heard might need to use the postpaid plan for few months first before can sign contract with phone. if there's any link to facebook and i click it while on digi network, it will force require to sign in to facebook. when i switch to network other than digi and reload the page, then click the facebook link again, it will not ask to log in. i don't know why facebook always do that while on digi. quite troublesome and unnecessary. i don't have facebook account. |

QUOTE(joshhd @ Sep 19 2021, 11:16 PM) Do you guys realise that Digi VoWiFi would intermittently stop working even if the phone stay connected to the same network? As in, VoWiFi icon goes missing, and the phone would just use VoLTE instead of VoWiFi, even when connected to the same home WiFi network. It very rarely happens, but still, it happens once in a bluemoon. yup. even while testing the above for vowifi, it only appears for a minute then disappears for good. And the workaround is, turn off WiFi, and then turn on again (and then reconnects), then VoWiFi icon appears. Do any of you experience this? |

QUOTE(joshhd @ Sep 19 2021, 11:23 PM) VoWiFi appears for a minute, and then switches itself to use VoLTE even if your phone is still connected to WiFi? digi SIM is secondary, i turned off 4G, drop to 3G, and VoWiFi appears for a while, then disappears.Or maybe because you're connected to a WiFi network with a below-average signals? Does it happen on other WiFi routers that your phone connected to? Mesh wifi itself is not the issue, nor the B818 with 4G+-locked Digi Infinite 150 behind it. it was a test at home out of curiosity from postings in here, so no, I don't walk around elsewhere hunting for it. |

QUOTE(iguana_dude_619 @ Oct 6 2021, 11:06 AM) Hi need a question about Digi Family package? Is there any limit amount of family members for Digi Postpaid 40 & 60? Maxis:Cause our current family package with Maxis is RM98(Principal), RM48(share), RM38 x 3(Value Surf Supplementary). Total is RM260. So is it possible with Digi to become Principal RM40/60 & Sup Family RM20 x 4. Total become RM120/140? All the internet quotas of principal and supplementaries are polled together and hsed together, becomes a single quota for all members. Digi: - Supplementary does not share internet quota with principal or with any other supplementary (exclusive). Any additional quota purchase will not be shared as well. - Principal does not share internet quota with supplementary, unless, principal signs up Internet Sharing add-on RM10. Principal can buy additional quota. - Supplementary will use principal's internet quota until its finished, then only start consuming its own unshared internet quota. - you can prevent depleting principal's quota by limiting the amount shared to each supplementary. So, consider above different behaviour. |

Check with Digi - I cannot find reference to determine if you need to use principal plan of certain value to be able to attach 4 supplementaries. Digi only crypti write "up to 6 supplementaries" everywhere that I looked up.Cause our current family package with Maxis is RM98(Principal), RM48(share), RM38 x 3(Value Surf Supplementary). QUOTE(bsboon @ Oct 17 2021, 09:19 AM) c. Should i register my phone myself at Samsung Online site or can i delay my registration to extend a little bit of warranty? warranty purpose straight to Samsung centres. Based on purchase receipt date, so no point you try to fool around attempting to claim extended warranty. |

cehhh no wonder vte and vowifi missing.
now you know why we still need 2G to failover to. those hulu places and national park still need 2G for practical and safety reason. even 4G not yet 100% coverage of POPULATED areas. |
