correction: credit limit is maximum of how much creditor will "lend" to you.

PRIMARY need to subscribe to internet sharing add-on (RM10), which will enabled supplementary to withdraw data from PRIMARY.

Each line will start each period with their quota as usual. No addition or reduction.

Each SUPPLEMENTARY retain their quota, this is not shared with the primary and other supplementaries.

Only PRIMARY quota will be shared towards the supplementaries.

PRIMARY quota will be utilised first by SUPPLEMENTARY. After PRIMARY is depleted, then it will consume SUPPLEMENTARY quota.

Control the amount of withdrawal allowed by each SUPPLEMENTARY through MyDigi app. Set to minuscule amount to disable from withdrawing further.

Celcom legacy postpaids and current Maxis postpaids will instead combine all the quotas from both primary and supplementaries; all draw from combined quota.

I'm not sure about Celcom Mega if still use same mechanism for internet sharing.

Allocation through MyMaxis and CelcomLife, same like MyDigi, but the stupid thing with CelcomLife is, you need to redo allocation for each new billing period.

Airplane mode disables the SIM altogether. Cannot be used to test.

What I did is, switch on WiFi AND set Digi SIM NOT to use 4G (drop to 3G or 2G).

My VoLTE icon for Digi SIM slot gets replaced with VoWiFi.

The only thing I hate of Digi network is ....

if there's any link to facebook and i click it while on digi network, it will force require to sign in to facebook.

when i switch to network other than digi and reload the page, then click the facebook link again, it will not ask to log in.

i don't know why facebook always do that while on digi. quite troublesome and unnecessary.

yup. even while testing the above for vowifi, it only appears for a minute then disappears for good.

Maxis:
All the internet quotas of principal and supplementaries are polled together and hsed together, becomes a single quota for all members.


Digi:
- Supplementary does not share internet quota with principal or with any other supplementary (exclusive). Any additional quota purchase will not be shared as well.

- Principal does not share internet quota with supplementary, unless, principal signs up Internet Sharing add-on RM10. Principal can buy additional quota.

- Supplementary will use principal's internet quota until its finished, then only start consuming its own unshared internet quota.

- you can prevent depleting principal's quota by limiting the amount shared to each supplementary.

So, consider above different behaviour.

Check with Digi - I cannot find reference to determine if you need to use principal plan of certain value to be able to attach 4 supplementaries. Digi only crypti write "up to 6 supplementaries" everywhere that I looked up.

Not sure if Digi allows using RM60 principal to park 4 supplementaries.
