Anyone know this plan? Unlimited call mean any network or only digi to digi? Sound like better than RM1/day offered by BOS unlimited internet previously.

maybe the CS agent is confused and the July date is just the deadline to subscribe in the first place?

Unlimited HOTSPOST-ABLE data is FOC for me's case... thanx to Shopee's and Yeoh Tiong Lay's collab...

So, RM8 (including 6% tipu tax) is the lowest monthly commitment that me can get for now...

Conclusion:

Before March redesign, each plan had different grace period. Live was 90 days, best was 75 and next was 60 , IIRC

After March redesign, the grace period was automatically upgraded for 90 days across all plans

To switch our Prepaid to eSIM, do we have to do it only at the main Digi Stores, or can we also do it at "Digi Store Express" outlets? Anyone succeeded in doing it at a Digi Store Express?

No. It's the other way around. SoyaCincau is spot on on how a call is charged whilst on roaming. The salesperson at the Maxis Centre that attended you know nothing.

Since the border reopened, i had travelled to Singapore, Bangkok, Middle-east and Europe. Everything still worked the same as it was before March 2020 when you're on roaming overseas.

I have two lines - Digi and Maxis and both lines were switched on during the whole duration i was overseas recently and i received multiple calls to both lines but i did not pickup, except the few times my Digi line happened to be connected on Digi WiFi Calling that i did answer the calls. I was not charge a single cent on roaming fee for voice call.
And using your Digi line with unlimited minutes to call back to Malaysia when you are overseas whilst connected to Digi WiFi Calling is extremely safe. This is because if for whatever reason, poor WiFi for example and the signal suddenly change to a roaming partner, the call will drop automatically. This was the case before Covid and still works the same this year.

I had made multiple calls back to Malaysia from Singapore, Bangkok, Middle-east and Europe using my Digi line with unlimited minutes via Digi WiFi Calling, there was once the call dropped in the Singapore hotel as Digi WiFi Calling was disconnected and changed to Singtel. I wasn't charged for this call either.
We had posted this before but i'll list down what you need to do to make sure you can switch on your Digi line overseas without worrying getting hit by expensive roaming call.
- Make sure voicemail is disabled

- Answer or make call only when your phone displays Digi WiFi Calling
**if your Digi call plan comes with unlimited minutes, then it works the same as you are in Malaysia. Bear in mind that 1300 and those 5 digits numbers are chargeable with your Digi line
**if you have free SMS on your Digi call plan, your regular SMS to 010, 011, 012, 013, 014, 016, 017, 018 and 019 numbers is free as well provided you send the SMS when connected to Digi WiFi Calling. SMS to premium numbers (those 5 digits number usually from banks) will be charged regular rate - RM0.50 as it is in Malaysia.

- Receiving SMS is always free whether you're connected to a roaming partner network or on Digi WiFi Calling
And i'll say this again, using Singapore as example, when your phone rings when you are connected to a roaming partner, be it Singtel, Starhub or M1, as long as you DO NOT ANSWER the CALL, and your VOICEMAIL DISABLED, you won't be charged for the call no matter how many times it rings.

Please note the above works the same for Maxis, except that Maxis WiFI Calling doesn't work overseas. For Maxis, you can disable your voicemail via the Maxis app.

To deactivate your Digi voicemail service, you can do it yourself by dialing the short code or call Digi CS to do it for you. You will see voicemail and VMS roaming. Supposedly just deactivate your Digi VMS roaming will do but for me, i totally disabled my Digi voicemail service.

My digi prepaid with rm3 30day 1GB Internet got offered addon booster rm15 unlimited internet and i took it. Was surprised that can hotspot it with speed of 40mbps, have been using for 3 days with usage of ~5GB hotspot n still ok. Is this addon renewable every 30 days?

Unlimited but speed 6mbps. Postpaid usually no speed capped. So this is not direct comparison. It's either you get high speed with quota or unlimited hidden FUP with slower speed.

Also be ware for those using Digi postpaid with 999gb FUP, now the FUP is revised to 600gb.
