I have 2 Prepaid Live numbers that got terminated before 90 days grace is up.

I lost the first number late last month and thought it was my own mistake, so I didn't bother to investigate further.

Today, I lost another Live number with lots of credit balance in it.

Back in Feb, I changed plan from Best to Live to take advantage of the long grace period. However, now I suspect that even after the plan was changed to Live, the grace period remained 75 days.

To those who wish to park your number by changing to Live, please BEWARE that you may not get 90 days grace.

Yes, digi does. In fact, many telcos do that.

They can easily find out from the last known network your sim card/number was connected to.

based on my sms records, i reactivated my number for 7 days and switched in less than an hour. if 7 days is not enough, then i wonder how long they will need. i bet if you switch from live to best, you won't get 90 days.

Digi refused to investigate or provide any explanation. They keep harping that I need to get a postpaid number which I'm not interested at all.

Had to lodge a complaint with MCMC.

on digi, if your credit balance is 0, your line is effectively in grace or passive mode.

very unlikely that those on plan with free data are eligible. malaysian telcos dangle free data and in return they squeeze you on validity. try changing plan to next.

digi's data deduction order is very kuku. often the bucket expiring earlier is not used first, but data is deducted from bucket expiring later.

when using umobile, i could still connect to 3g in many places, but data just doesn't work when on 3g.

looks like Digi's prices are edging towards parity with its buyer's before the purchase is completed. smile.gif
