A lot of older dual-SIM phones can only operate in 2G for the 2nd slot.

Plus a lot of non-phone/monitoring devices out there are 2G only.

I predict they will shut down 2G in 2025 at the earliest but most likely beyond 2030.

I fret at that news. Celcom is never generous when it comes to pricing.

I can already imagine the merged entity will revoke Infinite150 to be Limited150.

Maxis is stingier and more expensive...

U Mobile is cheap but their network sucks. I would rather choose Celcom.

Quite okay. Celcom better at rural areas. Digi is good (not the best) at city areas. If they merge, should be great.

so how the current Digi plans?
ceases? and all convert into new plan or follow Celcom one?

What celcom need related to plan? My very old digi plan when slot to new phone also got volte

Such a sad news. Digi is better off merging with U Mobile, though i agree that Vincent Tan's company isn't exactly easy to work with. Been avoiding Celcom like plaque. And how funny that a company that is making so much less profit is having their top people to hold the number 1 post in the proposed merged company  

The reason they want to keep two brands going for the time being is to convince people that we still have choices. But should the merger really takes off, it's just a matter of time they will kill off the Digi brand. Merged companies always do this. And all the ang moh top brass from Digi will all eventually return to Scandinavia as the Norwegian government slowly divests from the merged company.

Is Digi Fiber internet good? Reliable service? My area just recently got internet fiber, I'm thinking either Unifi or Digi. Right now Digi is offering me good price for 300mbps since I'm a long time inifinite 150 user.

They offer me Digi Internet Freedom 150. Which is 300mbps downstream and 50mbps upstream I think.
Normal price is Rm150. They say here they give RM20 lifetime rebate + RM30 rebate for 24 months (this one is for digi postpaid subscriber) .

Which brings down the price to RM100 per month not including tax. RM106 with tax. Not bad eh?

My only concern is the 'best effort basis' in the term. If they cannot at least give constant download speed 100mbps, might consider downgrade to Digi Fiber 130.

Hi guys, actually i posted this question on another thread but here appear to be the Fan page, ok here is my current situation:
I was being told that now cannot mnp online, can only mnp at Digi Store.

But I found out that Digi Store only selling NEXT sim these days. LIVE sim can only be found at online shopping platform like Shopee.

So, can I buy the LIVE sim from those platform and mnp my number accordingly myself?

I am mnp from Yes to Digi.

Digi performance has been dog shit in the pass few weeks at my area;
so often no service at random time.
Now I can't even make a report because the only way to do so is through the damn phone app, and accessing it with other telco constantly kicking me out of the damn stupid app
I choose to pay over RM150 a month for many years (that's pretty darn expensive for my economy situation) so I don't have to put up to all those network bullshit,
but now... there's nothing but bullshit annoying problems in recent weeks.

I certainly hope they aren't doing it on purpose after the changes in the i150 plan and all these celcom bullshit.
If they somehow switched to use celcom network, I am as good as dead here. Sialcom is utterly useless at my area.

a bad 'Prihatin' that forced ppl to use more, double or triple of their normal usage 

I test because of Digi different info, wrong info at different place in official website
the first time apply can see that RM15 was on suggested list

How exactly does that RM15 Internet Credit from Prihatin scheme work?

I bought RM10 2GB social + 30 days (Box of surprise) and it deducted my RM balance instead of that RM15 Internet Credit.

My information was leaked in a hack, so I pay all bills for old Digi account and close my old Digi account.

Now I receive email saying my old Digi account is suspended for failure to pay bills and I need to pay bill for old Digi account. If I already pay and close old account why I still need to pay? Also if I close the account why is it suspended?

My personal information was leaked. Is this a scam (use my leaked information to scam my money), or a bug in Digi system (they fail to check that I already close account, still send email telling me to pay)?
