QUOTE(chikuera @ Oct 4 2020, 01:23 PM) used to use digi back in 2011..not so good back then whatever cheap plans offered...now using celcom old package rm48/month only 5gb internet. want to upgrade but only cheapest is rm98/month with 40gb internet. too expensive and data too much as i already have unifi at home. only need data when at work or outside saw Digi postpaid Start only rm58/month and 15gb data more than enough for me. only do social media at most..no gaming hehe just make sure it's work... I mean Telco coverage, speed & stability... not forgetting your device compatibility with telco Band too |

QUOTE(chikuera @ Oct 4 2020, 01:33 PM) is there a phone with limited internet spec capabilites? china low end phones...in 1 week so far so good on digi. got few friends at work all bought iphone 11 using digi plan and feedbacks are good cannot use with some malaysian telco band... signal strength would be unstable.. something like that.. iphone should be okay. non issues... QUOTE(azhar75 @ Oct 31 2020, 12:22 PM) Dear DiGi, lucky me don't give damn about the free MCO 1 GB data anymore...Why make customer's experience horrible...? Enabling every single day manually is not "encouraging"... ![]() ever since they restrict the usage... No more headache daily just use whatever data quota I have This post has been edited by nexona88: Oct 31 2020, 04:14 PM |

QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ Nov 16 2020, 03:29 PM) I believe Maxis has always been better than Digi especially in big cities with the exception of East Malaysia where Digi is clearly better in more places. stability in Maxis is true...I don’t usually see Maxis giving a download speed of 100Mbps or over but the speed overall is consistent, likely their AI is at play here whereas Digi sometimes can give crazy download speed of 100Mbps and then go down to 50Mbps. In some places where the usual speed is around 30Mbps, the speed sometimes go down to around 13Mbps which rarely happens to Maxis. and yes. rarely I see super high speed like 100Mbps on 4G with Maxis... Maxis strategy, if not mistaken is to cater the Urban areas... that's the initial plan... but as new developments... they also slowly expend to sub urban & some rural areas too... what I know for those rural areas... king is with Celcom. coverage number 1... there's even joke saying inside jungle can get Celcom signal too |

QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ Nov 16 2020, 05:12 PM) Yes that is correct. Hence Celcom’s market share in East Malaysia is big. But the funny thing is, Digi and Maxis are both better than Celcom in KK. I assume both the telco focus on KK first (since it's state capital of sabah)... make sure it's okay with good speed before moving to others town/areas? whereas Celcom don't do such thing and keep expending into others areas..... neglecting KK as the major town.. my 2c opinion |

The data consumption rate seems to be faster than before? I mean around same usage pattern... But now it's faster... Previously I realize it's on maxis.. now digi also same thing.... |

QUOTE(zher4883 @ Nov 18 2020, 07:38 PM) It doesn't seems like 300MB block but definitely no longer 10KB block. This is the tradeoff for offering more data at the same price point, they have to cut down cost somewhere so larger data block reduced the work of billing server. Just double check..Normal log into MyDigi app.. to redeem my free data quota U know how much data consumption? Just to log & redeem.. 0.25MB data burn on main quota.. 😁 This post has been edited by nexona88: Nov 19 2020, 12:19 AM |
