Next month, when #5G_is_fake is officially launched, will reduce further to 100GB (hypothetically)...
*
Imagine 5G with 3/6mbps speed. That's totally a joke. As long as MCMC do not banned the usage of "unlimited" term, it will be abuse by telcos.

This is all DNB's work. It will be the same once the other telcos activate 5G.

Normally if we subscribed to a postpaid plan, and after some time digi changed its postpaid plan, old users will still able to stick back on the old plan? or will auto change as well? coz prepaid one is will always require to follow latest plan, cannot lock on old plan even if more worthy sometimes.
*
It will maintain the old postpaid plan. I have a postpaid 38 line since few years back. However almost weekly I will get SMS from Digi asking to upgrade to postpaid 40 with additional data and contract 12 months which I happily ignore.

Just curious, Digi's iPhone plan must buy by monthly installment? Cannot just buy the phone through normal contract like Maxis?

Speaking of WiFi Calling, I think I found an issue when it is enabled while being in Malaysia.
Many times after leaving home where I was connected to my WiFi I had problems with data, no internet connection despite 4G icon, up until I turned Airplane mode on and off.
Result: I've disabled WiFi Calling when I'm not abroad.
*
Not sure if it is related to Wifi calling, but of late especially after 3g shut down, I have also experience similar situation. No internet although the phone shows 4G. Have to turn on and off airplane mode to get back data connection.

anyone face before on digi line, not able to receive otp sms from whatsapp?  i just ported into digi and currently not able to receive any automated call or sms from whatsapp itself.

but most weird is only whatsapp that is impacted. banking sms all able to receive
*
Usually newly port in have to wait few days I think. Even banks TAC also can have problem for the first few days of changing telco.

Oh my. My peasant class postpaid 40 is not eligible for the 5g booster.

4G is for peasant. 5G is for kayangan. We shall see how is 5G pricing when DNB release their updated RAO.

It's just a matter of time. Hopefully can get 5G in iOS 16.2, same as India.

INB4 telco say "subject to change"...
*
Yes. Usually there is a clause in the T&C stating that telcos can change or modify the plan by giving notice to the customers bla bla bla. And continue usage means we agree to the terms bla bla bla.

QUOTE(X3RXUS @ Nov 21 2022, 03:01 PM)
Dear all Digi sifus,

Yesterday, I received a notification from Digi informing me that my credit has dipped below RM3 and I need to topup.
I was quite suprised by this notification as I know I have RM30++ credit left in my phone. But when I check the statement,
I was shock to find out that Digi has been deducting my credit without my knowledge for data service that I did not use.
I don't use mobile data and definitely did not subscribe to any data plans, I only use Unifi wifi for internet services.
Can anyone here tell me what have happened and how I can stop Digi for deducting my credit any further.
Thanks in advance.

I have experience the same situation few years ago when I was still on prepaid. Complained to Digi CS and they are adamant not to refund me.
So I lodge report to MCMC and finally Digi disable the deduction and refund all my balance that have been wrongly deducted daily. You can talk to their CS first and see how it goes.

I wonder if it's only me to feel like my phone signal has gotten worse after the 'merge', like no signal most of the time...🥲
*
Already feel it few months before the merge. Even at my home line goes 2 bar to 1 bar only, unlike before can get almost full signal.
Initially I suspect it's my phone but after I try port 1 number to Hotlink, I can get good signal with it.

hi guys, am currently been maxis user for more than decade.. moving to new house and maxis totally no coverage.. im on 98 main + 48 sub line, monthly rm166 with tax.. can recommend me digi plan suit me? i dont need huge data, 30gb combined is more than enough.. what important is free call..
*
Get Digi postpaid 60 as main line then add 1 subline for RM20. Postpaid 60 you can have 40gb data, while subline gets 10gb data.
I suppose that is sufficient base on your description.

Am on postpaid digi 38 plan for many years free 1gb 1-7pm, now got sms will be upgraded to digi 40 plan... which I never applied. Anyone else kena?
No more free 1gb 1-7pm on new plan, might be time to port out
*
They are surely consolidating old postpaid plans into newer plan. It is already happening with prepaid.

Why prepaid always cheaper than postpaid?
Prepaid rm40 can get unlimited 6mbps add rm5 can get unlimited hotspot summore.
*
Unlimited but speed 6mbps. Postpaid usually no speed capped. So this is not direct comparison. It's either you get high speed with quota or unlimited hidden FUP with slower speed.

Also be ware for those using Digi postpaid with 999gb FUP, now the FUP is revised to 600gb.

Is there any way I can change from a postpaid plan to prepaid without visiting Digi Store?

Can I do it at Digi Express Store?

Or, can it be done via CS?
*
For sure cannot change through CS or online. Have to visit a physical store to change, but I'm not sure if Digi Express can do or not.
Alternative method to change without needing to visit Digi store is to MNP out and then MNP back to Digi prepaid.

Just ported from Celcom to Digi. And now im also facing red dot saga on my iPhone. Read a few pages in this thread months back and tried . Anyone got solution for this? I tried deactivating them.. but still got.. Also tried reactivating it, but when call voicemail i always get "System is busy. Try again later"....

Digi CS is saying this is a Apple issue.

Weird thing is I opt in for Gadget sim as well which does not have call feature, but it is appearing "New voicemail" notification... Wow...
*
No actual way to solve this problem. After a while you will forget about the red dot.

thanks for the reply. So good there a way and no need walk in to Digi. rclxms.gif

Only postpaid to prepaid need to walk in. The rest can just do online or through USSD menu.

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jan 8 2023, 05:31 PM)
I wanted to switch my Postpaid 40 to Yoodo, I get only 25GB data and unlimited calls on Digi. I can forgo the free calls and Yoodo is 20GB for RM 20.

Then, Digi counter-offered me with Postpaid 35 that gives 30GB data, additional 3GB hotspot and unlimited calls. After consideration, I accepted the offer to stay back with Digi.

Even without Yoodo, my second option will be Celcom mix and match which is also RM 35 (30GB and unlimited calls) and it has advantage because it comes with 5G. However, this Digi no. is always in my router which doesn’t support 5G, so I guess I can continue using Digi 35 for now. Since it has no contract attached, so I can still switch to other telco next time. tongue.gif
*
To me 5G is still long way to go unless you have device which can support it. The offer is reasonable, I suppose without any speed cap right?

QUOTE(Gold_Moderator @ Jan 8 2023, 08:01 PM)
aiya, rm35. yoodo give u unlimited data, 6gb hotspot n 100 minits call

Not all ppl want unlimited ma. For me I rather choose no speed cap than unlimited but speed 3mb or 6mb. At home already can use Wifi.
