Why is Mydigi app this terrible...

Coming from Celcom, this digi app is slower than ever plus with details accuracy error. Sigh..

Haven't tried the payment function, hopefully it works fine..
*
Uou should use other payment channels to have a 3dd party trail of it.
Don't think it's wise to use payment functions in a buggy app ecosystem. Later they just deny records generated from it.

my Supplementary 40 lines show pack codes instead of pack names.
though the entitlement balance looks correct.

do you know how can we do this via the digi app/website? or need to go to digi shop?
*
through digi app.

i no longer subscribe to internet sharing add-on, but i remember you can control the amount allowed to be drawn through the internet quota of primary line.

adjust to the allocation of the supplementary you want to restrict to the lowest, 100MB if not mistaken. you can't disable altogether. set to all the supplementary lines, or just unsubscribe the internet sharing add-on ( 😏 )

(i don't have the link because i no longer subscribe to internet sharing add-on)

DiGi app got issue. Used to have a link there, now it's gone. I'm using Postpaid with share quota too.
*
yeah, probably that's the reason it went missing.

one of my digi infinite 150 don't even have the card that display internet quota. the other one have it.

The issue is should use the own supp line internet quota first before start using the main line internet quota.
*
digi's sharing style is utilise primary's quota first, then only utilise the unshared supplementary's quota.

maxis and celcom on the other hand , all quotas are unified and shared by all members.

if you don't want such, then primary can limit to only share as low as 100MB(?) to the supplementary line. That supplementary will then have to switch to its own individual pool when 100MB is exhausted.

if only we can check how much it is actually used up in real-time rather than just a summary in the bill.....

Digi website can check

I am more concern about its unlimited status

Before Migration: After 1TB, speed mantain to max 15Mbps while use as you like but can request for reset

After Migration: After 1TB (999GB), internet cut off, request reset case still in progress until today (What the heck in the world is Digi technician doing)

The T&C still maintain the scenario prior to Before Migration
*
yes, this is my concern.
used to get <20Mbps, so i was not concerned of busting 1TB and having to request for reset, but after the 3G decommissioning and me replacing B618 with B818, I'm getting >100Mbps. with greater speed, comes greater usage ....

previously principle need to pay RM10 to enable share function. now not require only RM5/month/sim.
*
previously principal need Internet Sharing add-on (RM10/mth).
else the gadget SIM (RM10/mth) have no data to draw from.

so now you are saying not only gadget SIM gets 50% off (RM5/mth), principal also not required to pay for Internet Sharing add-on?

Limited time? Or lifetime?

I can set the sharing of my primary line's 10GB quota but the 25GB contract quota sharing setting doesn't work. No error message though.

my experience before.

that allocation total = your current balance available, not the plan's paper quota.

although i was subscribed to Postpaid 190 w/ device (200GiB), but only have 100GIB left till next bill, then that interface will only allow me to divide a total of 100GiB.

1. Digi prepaid 30 : mom use alot WhatsApp and fb in the home. Home got unifi connected. I see use not more than 100mb per month.

2. Digi postpaid 53 : very rarely use. Using nokia phone. This number has to keep because of register phone number with government agency. Feel very wasted blindly pay 53 every month.

So my plan is terminated number 1, number 2 put active and register the suitable cheap prepaid plans for her. Is this the best?

I see the digi app for number 1 the balance rm400+. This credit can transfer out?

The headache part is number 1 keep many contact and photos. This is very frustrating because my mom not a tech savvy.
*
register the prepaid as supplementary to the postpaid. that should carry all the balance into the postpaid account.

if limited from carrying ALL the prepaid balance (like, maybe cap to only be able to carry RM100), then register few more prepaid under your name, do prepaid balance transfer to split the amount, register them all as supplementary under postpaid afterward.

make sure recister as supplementary to exisiting postpaid.. don't end up registering as postpaid but as a separate account number.

after balance is transferred into postpaid, only then you terminate the supplementary.

i noticed recently that running USSD code will fall back the connection to 2G/EDGE instead of 3G, even though 3G is still available in my area.
*
https://www.quora.com/Do-LTE-networks-still...or-support-USSD

LTE networks do not as such support USSD, but they do provde mechanisms to allow USSD to be used.

If there are 2G/3G networks available, the handset will be told to reselect the 2G or 3G network, and perform the USSD request there. This is similar to the way voice calls are setup from LTE if there is no mVoLTE available.

From 3GPP 23.272[1] Figure 6.2-1: CS Call Request in E-UTRAN, Call in GERAN/UTRAN. Instead of a call attempt in block 6, the USSD procedure will be used.

An possible alternative is β€œUSSD over IMS”, which assumes that the handset and network are mVoLTE capable, and the operator has implemented such a service. I’m not actually aware of any such solutions though.

At least both telco still retain identity, operate separately.
Please don't revise Digi's plans to emulate Celcom's stingy plan.

Hi all,
I've recently port in to Digi Postpaid 40 plan. I'm planning to add my family members under Digi Family postpaid, however I heard from a dealer that Internet sharing is currently buggy/unavailable? Family line will use data from the main like before using their own quota. Is this true?
*
no idea about the first part about unavailability.

but 2nd part, yes. ....

both primary and supplementary will have their own quota to begin with.

the supplementary's quota are always non-shareable; exclusive use by each individual supplementary.

meanwhile, the primary's quota is the one that becomes shareable if primary subscribes to Internet Sharing add-on (RM10/mth).
the supplementary(s) will start with sucking dry the primary's quota. after primary's quota is finished, then the supplementary(s) will switch to use its own unshared quota.

Thanks for your reply! Can the amount shared be capped at a certain amount? Otherwise my quota gonna be sucked dry everytime😭
*
that's why you need access to manage allocation to each supplementary.

you cannot disable the sharing (unless to unsubscribe the Internet Sharing add-on). the closest you can do to "disable" is to assign the lowest possible minimum quota to the supplementary that you don't want to share with.

im using ocbc card , but card received otp...
hlb sometime can sometime not ...

i remember people say "just wait for things to sort itself" or "call the bank to let them know".
i don't know how true; something about your bank still send your OTP to gateway of predecessor telco until they're told of your new telco.
