Whats the best/ most advisable way to buy property in KL/Selangor if working in Aus.

Hi there, synapse*! - got your message about another Malaysian residing in Australia - will definitely make it a point to look you guys up when I'm settled in Sydney in the next couple of years (plan is still firmly on track). There was a similar thread about another poster with the same question, and from the information that was exchanged, it would seem that the local banks might be hesitant in recognizing Australian income, given the facts as they have been relayed by the original poster of that thread. Do you have have any EPF or savings you could plonk down as down payment? From my experience, banks might be a little more flexible if you can show that you have substantial assets that may go toward offsetting the total loan amount.
