Dear Sifus,

Am looking to change my monitor.

I am currently running on old school pc setup:-

CPU: i5-6600K
GPU: GTX1060
Games: Apex, D2, NBA, FIFA, but mostly D2.

To start, I am now looking at spec:-

Type: IPS
Resolution: 1080p
Refresh: 144Hz
Response: 1-5 ms
Size: 24" or 27"

Budget: +/- 1000 MYR.

Do advise if my setup is capable of running the spec I am looking at, and possibly some model recommendations.

Thanks in advanced.

I will recommend Acer XF240H monitor, been using it for about quite sometime, never had any problem, still serving me best.

Acer KG251QI. DIRT CHEAP (<1k) and its 240hz, can't really argue on the performance because it's up to par with other 240hz monitors. stock is very limited but u can try viewnet lazada

review by hw unboxed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6MHdeDv9bqI (generally it's a good monitor for your budget)
