From religious fanatics to non-religious fanatics, the sense of toleration between people have deteriorated much from when I was a kid.

1. I believe it will happen, before or after I pass away doesn't matter as much as you'll see below

2. I would say hardworking is subjective, each generation would convey that the preceding generation is much lazier than theirs. If you use your points, the prior market crashes including Wall Street Crash of 1929 is because of them being lazy and finding the easiest jobs? Somethings are beyond a normal person's control. And the combination of internalized hate will bring a revolt.

3. You're saying we should just let them build our infrastructure? Do you understand what it entails? The minors would be that they don't even use local workers and the country itself would be indebt. There's no such thing as a free meal. Easiest example would Pakistan’s Gwadar Port, which has essentially become a chinese naval base or china taking of over Sri Lanka's Port. We should be neutral in both demographics. Siding either would not give the best situation for us. Business is business, but selling our country shouldn't even be in a discussion.

5. Toleration includes people caring about others, or else how can you tolerate someone if you understand little of their culture/religion/background?
Would agree that alot of people are more selfish of others, I remember back when I was a kid going to friends/neighbours place thinking little of race and religion. Now? I hardly see even neighbours being nice to each other, ala ikankering if you read his thread. I miss the times when you could just tok kok with your friends of other races infront of them. They'll laugh it off while making jokes of their own. I care abput you tho

Even here, R&R is being brought up on nearly daily basis, minus 10-20 odd years ago, it wasn't as profound as this.

I am just sad to see these things becoming more and more prevelant.
