at that price you dont have many choices
if your budget allows, i would suggest you to get Myvi, but again it really depends on your requirement

if you want no frills no bells and whistles this car is good. Fuel consumption, boot space, maintenance is all good.

Good all-around entry car.

Drove both Bezza and Myvi before, if you don't mind the boot compartment, I would recommend you to go for Myvi smile.gif

Test ride bezza and saga before. Comfort more to saga. You will appreciate it. Also bezza back seat are too uncomfortable for me when i sat in bezza grab car. Too bumpy.

2017 Bezza owner here. If you can stretch your budget to RM49k, you might want to look at the top-spec 1.3 AV instead for all the creature comforts and the whose suite of ASA 2.0 safety assists. You may have heard some rumours of 'sampan' handling, which was actually partially rectified in the 2017 update and again in the 2020 facelift. It's still not fantastic by any means, but it's not that bad. Also you get a massive boot that's larger than even some B-segment cars, and it's pretty fuel efficient.

BUT if you want to save some money and still get a whole ton of value, look at the top-spec Proton Saga. I think it tops out at RM40k and is a much better drive than the Bezza. You won't have as much interior/boot space or safety features, but it's cheaper and drives better. Much better suited for long-distance driving (if that's your thing) than the Bezza.

TL;DR:

Bezza:
Pros:
- Gigantic boot
- Fuel efficient
- ASA 2.0 safety suite (top spec only)
Cons:
- Handling isn't great
- A bit pricey for a A-segment car

Saga
Pros:
- Much better to drive, especially long distance
- Cheaper
Cons:
- Smaller interior space/boot
- Less fuel efficient

Other cars to consider in the price range are the lower/mid-specced Myvi and the Proton Persona. Best to give them all a test drive and decide what you need.

Hello, 2016 Bezza Adv owner here, I can give some insight.

Pro:
- Fuel economy. Number 1. Love it. It's a car for daily commute. No frills.
- Big boot space. I got hit from behind at a traffic light in 2017. I guess the boot saved the car from being totalled.
- No worries if you forget to turn off your head light. Once engine is cut off, the head light is off. I don't know if this is a feature in every car of recent years, but it is a huge upgrade from my old wira that only makes an alarm sound if you forget. The old alarm system doesn't seem to be too reliable as well.
- VSC and ABS saved my life once already, so I'm glad I got the top spec.

Cons:
- Low power lo. Save minyak what to do. Buttttt, once u get to cruising speed about 100-120kmh, RPM maintain about 3000RPM which is really low IMO. I think the gear ratio is how they get the fuel economy.
- Non adjustable steering height. This super annoying but I learned to live with it.
- Rear seats a bit uncomfortable. Might make back seat passengers cranky on long haul drive.
- Maybe some QC issue. My AC blower needs replacement after only 4 years. This has never happened before with any other cars I've driven.
- Blindspots! This car has a lot of them, for me at least. The front pillars especially, are so blinding, so many times I just didn't see somebody diagonally from me. I've learned to live with it by looking twice before I exit simpang.
- NVH not so good. It does get quite loud at cruising speed.
- Cup holders were designed by engineers who never used a cup holder. So awkwardly positioned and sized. Be careful when putting a large mcd drink in there, I've spilled it a number of times because I needed to tilt the cup just to put it in there. The middle one? It has 2 cup holder right, but you cannot fit 2 cups in there. They will bump on each other and be all tilted.. What's the point of having 2 cup holders then? So annoying.

That's all I can think of now, I'll add sumore when I can think of more. Hope that helps.

Bezza is for those who hates comfort and loves bumpy rides. I know I am very blunt but this is how bad Bezza is.
