Hi,

I am renovating my house and I am planning to have the water heater with the rain shower concept, the one like joven or alpha.
Now..the thing is, I saw some houses and some designs have the inbuilt rain shower ...how does it work, how does the inbuilt wan work.
I need the hand shower as well.

Which is better, inbuilt or the portable kind, where we can buy and fix ourselves...

If you have space inside ceiling then put the inbuilt wan. If not use the wall mounted but you will probable need a water pump for the house.

The built in in centralized system, this much more expensive. but the finishing is nice, there is no heater unit in the bathroom which looks even better....

Build in in much more expensive to maintain and to install...

aplha joven units are the more affordable ones...

Built in you mean with copper piping & shower mixer? I prefer built in. But it is much more expensive than instant water heater. Water heater tank alone cost around RM1k ++ including installation per bathroom. I am not sure how much will hacking, laying copper pipes & retiling would cost. Shower mixer could range from RM300 to more than RM10k depending on quality and brand.

If you have budget, then go for storage water heater.

If you intend to DIY, then the portable ones is way to go. Other methods, you need pros involved.

Hi all, I just got the keys to my unit with a built in water tank heater. Unfortunately it was broken. Anyone have the professional contact to fix built in (tank) kind of water heater? Most contractor does not repair nor install built in water heater.
