I had a photo printer before but it's actually more cost effective to get the photo printed in the shops. Quality also better.

Sorry you asking what printer to buy or where to get prints done? Prints at most shops are OK but I don't know the current price cause been ages since I print anything.

I had a 6 tank Epson more than 10 years ago. Can remember the model. When use quality paper the prints were nice. Just did not print enough to justify the cost. Also the ink use to dry if not used for long. That's why I prefer just to get prints in shops now.
