Hello experts.

I need help about my Proton Saga FLX manual, 2011 Model.

I am having problem of draining out Car battery in just 2-3 days. Suspecting my battery is faulty I changed in with new Amaron high end battery, still battery is getting flat if Car is idle for 3 days.
I checked with Proton service center, they say that no issue with wiring and alternator. they are wondering and clueless about this.
I got my car serviced recently but problem still persists. My car has external radio and lock-unlock remote.
not sure what is draining out my battery.

Can any good mechanic please advise about this.

Thanks
Rajeev

New battery already? Hot place? Must be power leak.

I’m not mechanics. Last time my car every 2 days battery flat. Happened every few days for almost a month. After sending to Honda to check for 2 days found out that sticky relay did not turn off the fan at the engine compartment even after car is shutdown. Replaced the relay and workmanship. Rm190

Mechanic says that Wiring is also ok. Battery is also stated as ok.
Now they say that alternator needs to be changed, which will cost me more than RM 1K.
Earlier I went to Proton SAGA service center on old Klang road, they said no problem with Alternator.

Very confused what the heck the problem is. bangwall.gif bangwall.gif

RM1k? Bloody expensive.

Off engine check how much current draw from your wiring from battery. Know how to do this?

Thanks brother for sparing time for response.

I visited the shop, Mechanic was knowledgeable and he said that alternator okay and it's battery leak issue.
He removed battery terminal and demonstrated me the current draining by lighting a small bulb without battery.
He charged me just RM 30 and fixed issue.

I still have to wait to keep my car idle for 5-7 days and check if still battery gets flat.

Thanks for your suggestion. I am hopeful that issue is fixed.
