2 months ago, I replaced my old ceiling fan with Panasonic Bayu (4 blades).
About 1 week ago, I started to hear some ticking noises from the ceiling fan intermittently.
I've tried to tighten the exterior screws without messing too much on the interior as I have no expertise/knowledge on dismantling/installing the whole thing.
I plan to schedule appointment with the electrical shop to solve this problem.
Meanwhile, does anyone know what is the cause of the noise? doesn't sound/look like bearing/motor problem

let us know what technician say, i just remove cover on kdk 4 blade fan like video, run it without cover and ticking noise still there. spray wd40 anyway and assemble back...ticking still there.

apparently my problem was none of those - the ticking noise was caused by one of the blade section not screwed/tighten properly
The tape youtube fix the ticking for my bayu 4, u can also tape the stafety pins where the blade screw to the body... I had 5x bayu 4 at home,, all have the same treatment. solve the issue.
also try ur best to balance the fan... bayu 4 is not well balanced, it will goyang goyang which further make more sound... Good luck... also the cabling if can wire manage it welll so it will not knock around in the casing.
this mostly is not PCB or electrical problem. all the sound come from casing... also the buzzzz whining sound is the same...all is casing problem.
