Hi all,

I'm torn between two monitors, the Acer XV240YP and the AOC 24G2. Both monitors fit my criteria as i want a monitor not just for gaming but also for everyday general use. The AOC has been reviewed to be the best 1080p 144hz monitor and i really like the stand. Acer on the other hand has changed their stand from the predecessor to a regular round base which has turned me off slight, but it is also much cheaper than the AOC. So just want to know, other than design, is there any difference between these monitors? Why is it that the 24G2 has that the XV240YP doesnt?

1. please state your GPU and which e-sport games you're playing that requires you to get a 144hz?

2. what about ms(GTG) ? 144Hz 5ms? really.....
(i pefers 1080p 75Hz 1ms with minimum 1660TI)

1. Currently using a GTX 1660 Super and I mainly play CS GO and ocassionally COD and F1.

2. I want an IPS panel for a better monitor for general use as well, not just for gaming. So if it means sacrificing (a little)of the response time i don't really mind. But seen reviews that the AOC one is pretty good for gaming too.
