You are correct when you say Walmart sold that amount worth of DVDs, and they especially carry mediums that cater to their bottom line (meaning they stock more DVDs than HD format mediums) , rather than encouraging HD adoption, which is what Blockbuster and Future Shop are trying to encourage the general public to embrace.
