is the Redmi 9, good cheap budget phone?

If you compare it price wise(RM499) to it's closest rivals such as the Realme C3, Vivo Y12, Neffos X20, Oppo A5S and Honor 8A, Redmi 9 wins by a considerable distance on features alone

Large 6.5" FHD+ screen, USB Type C port, 18W fast charge, Quad Camera setup, 5,020mah battery, wireless FM radio and a decent Helio G80 processor that is designed to be both an all-rounder with gaming capabilities as well. A lot of others in this price still use 720P screens, micro USB, 10W charge rate and a low-end Snapdragon 429/439 or Helio P22/23 chipset that is really only designed for basic tasks and games.

Things to look out for are bloatware on Xiaomi devices, Mediatek chipset lack of custom firmware/mods support(most casual users won't care) and from what I heard, Xiaomi are kinda slow in releasing new updates on their products.
