I've been looking to get whey online, as I'm almost done with my current tub. To my surprise, there're now plenty of local brands sold on online platforms like Shopee/ Lazada.

QUOTE(thefryingfox @ Jun 20 2020, 10:41 AM) What about brands like power mania?https://shopee.com.my/product/31359619/1020032521?smtt=0.0.9 And AGYM nutrition? https://shopee.com.my/product/30114711/1063180244?smtt=0.0.9 Sales numbers for these are very high, though reviews are mostly thanking the seller for quick delivery :x Follows standard Malaysian advertising, lots of gempak colours followed by WhatsApp reviews lol I just wonder if these are safe to consume, and if they really work? I'm cool supporting local products, if they're of good quality and not just about advertising garbage. |

QUOTE(Amedion @ Jun 20 2020, 11:47 AM) Just pick the cheapest protein per gram, convenient and taste to your liking. Thanks and personal preferences understood but you've digressed slightly from what I asked.Nobody can give you proper review. Most ppl just started working out so they will say certain supplement they taking give good result but its actually newbie gain. For me i cannot tell the difference when not taking whey protein and also consuming more than 200g (only get diarrhea and frequent indigestion). Currently just take a scoop or two if not eating enough proteins throughout the day. My concern is with having a lot of brands to choose from especially with the emergence of new local brands, is their nutritional information even accurate? For example, the one by power mania - there isn't even a website to this, just a Facebook page. If trustworthy, then holyF their protein per gram or even cost per gram of protein is very attractive |

QUOTE(nivlanauk @ Jun 20 2020, 03:17 PM) Them reviews though. 2 weeks dah mantap? 😂 I usually get mine from egonutrition @ The Curve. A little costly, but ease of mind in terms of quality, selection and expiry. But best to get online now, like to avoid unnecessarily going out at the moment. Been using N8 Soy Protein and to be honest, this one gave me the least bloated feel compared to all other powders I've taken. Perhaps it's the soy...But yea. Looks unconvincing. I get mine from Myprotein, always have 50% off. After looking online the last couple of days, I decided to give One Shot a try. They seemed to be cost friendly, legit website and who am I kidding, the milk tea flavour is definitely something I'd like to try lol https://s.lazada.com.my/s.bKTJ8 |
