Did the linesmen install the cabling yet? Sometimes the poles are installed ahead of time because it's the easiest hardware to install. If there is fibre optic cable, maybe it's the back haul cable connection between the OLT and the FDC. In Taman angsana Kulim case, this week the linesmen are now installing the fibre optic cable back haul along Jalan perdagangan from kulim industrial estate. The poles are installed in January and February. Allo is working in reverse by installing the hardware and cables in the residential areas first and then lay down the back haul connection.

Is the FDP already connected to customer's premises? Could be bad luck in your case. The same thing happens in case of Taman Impiana Kulim. In taman Impiana only 30% area are covered by allo, the other are not. Probably due to allo roll out plans. Maybe will be covered by later stage. Saw a horizontal direction drilling machine parked near the Kulim honda showroom, beside the traffic lights, could be related to allo project.

I see, if you are patient then allow time for allo to progress to your residential area.
Else can sub to unifi until the 2 years contract expires and allo finally install it's service.
In my case, my family decided not to return to TM even there is unifi fiber service in my residential area. We rather wait for allo to come at this moment.

May I know, what ISP name does Astro Broadband use? TIME? MAXIS? Or ALLO?

The reason is that Astro Broadband that uses TM infra will use Maxis ISP

The picture on the left shows that they supplied a Archer A6 but only the WAN cable is connected to the Huawei ONT. Where the the LAN connection to the Astro STB?

Also Astro's partner ISP should be Maxis.Both internet and IPTV monthly service will come under the same bill from Astro Broadband & IPTV.

I know, but there is no LAN cable connection from the router to the STB 

That means the Astro Broadband (ALLO) you are using now is not using IPTV service, unlike Astro Broadband (TIME & MAXIS), which use IPTV services on their infra

Further read ups revealed that Astro has now teamed up with Allo as their new partnering ISP for their Astro & Broadband deal plan for TNB network.

For TM HSBB, they team up with Maxis Home Fibre instead.

For TIME fibre coverage I think they're only maintaining their IPTV plans.

The Astro IPTV Broadband bundle doesn't require a satellite dish and needs to hook up directly to their supplied router using VLAN for dedicated bandwidth.

It's supposed to work like a wired cable TV using your existing fibre optic connection to deliver IPTV.

Taman Bercham Aman also the same. Had installed poles at beginning of March but until now haven't pull fiber cable yet.
